  1. They’re the gift that keeps on giving. Just when you think you can’t fuck things up much more. And let’s face it, with the amount of MPs they’ve got left it’s basically electing a message chat admin rather than someone of any importance. Keep imploding
  2. The continuing implosion of that party is glorious to observe
  3. There was an argument going on over at RTG the other day about her with some of the morons absolutely convinced she's a Mackem despite people who know here personally pointing out she's one of us.
  4. He's already started on the PR crusade rattling off that with it, his party would have over 100 MPs now. One of the few things I agree with him on and I fully expect because he's pushing hard for it, the government won't even entertain a discussion on it.
  5. Fucking weird watching Bridget heading into number 10!
  6. I hope to fuck you’re right 😂
  7. Sweepstake on how many seats you reckon the cunts will end up with? I’m hoping it’ll be double, not triple figures but fear I’m going to be ‘just’ disappointed. going with 102
  8. Stick mine on there @Gemmill - Basingstoke
  9. The missus and I have just been to vote. There’s a Tory campaigner on the door asking for our voter cards so he can make a note of our numbers so we “don’t get a knock on the door later”. They’re clearly very concerned about Tory voter apathy around here. Anyway told him no, we’ll be out partying…
  10. This is what happens when you privatise the fuck out of every public service. The irony that they're deeply concerned some of their key votes may not be delivered on time is not lost on me. You reap what you sow. Government 'urgently' investigating general election postal ballot delays | Politics News | Sky News
  11. Had this "you can't vote Labour, they'll increase your taxes...." line thrown at me the other day for umpteenth time. "if it means an increase in public spending then I'm OK with that..." seemed to make the Tory campaigner's brain melt
  12. tbf from what I remember it could have been one of several nights
  13. The problem is a good proportion of the pro-Brexit gammons are blaming the Tories for not delivering the Brexit they (thought they) were promised. Sadly, they see Farage as the saviour who actually will deliver it ... because they are THAT fucking thick! As someone said the other day, his role in UK politics is nothing more than a 'spoil'. If he actually got elected he wouldn't know what the fuck to do. Amounts to nothing more than a comedy act which, when you consider the state of the country, is quite fucking tragic really.
  14. Did this coincide with one of Papa Lazaru's infamous embarrassing evenings?
  15. Deleting replies would have trashed other people’s posts. She was happy with what was done. tbh I don’t think she was too controversial on here … the previous board might be a different matter but that was lost big time when those forums caved in. i think the worst she had to deal with on here was SMO trying (and failing) to get a rise out of her
  16. Plays deeper than Gordon & Barnes. He's more of a playmaker - number 8 I'd say.
  17. How many parties is that he's now led?
  18. They truly are going to be annihilated. Basingstoke, which has never been anything but Tory is 86% likely to go to Labour. In 2019 12/13 wards were won by the Tories. This time around they're expected to get just one!
  19. Amen. And yes, the McGovern thing is hard hitting. No apology needed. What I've learned this last year is not to be embarrassed by any of the shit going in your head - get it out there. If anyone has issue with it, it's their issue not yours.
  20. My shocking relationship with predominately with my brother, but my family in general is apparently the deep roots as for mine. As for Hillsborough - that threw me and was something that came out in a session. It's less about the specifics of what happen and more the treatment of the collective 'football fans' in the late 80s that angers me. Because people pulled on a football shirt and went to a match, they were automatically considered to be a problem - and it didn't matter what colour, creed, gender or age you were. We were all treated as second-rate citizens because of our interests. How fucking dare they! Hillsborough could have happened anywhere and could have involved fans of any club. And the fact 35 years later we still have no-one held to account for it, despite the unreserved apology given by the government 12 years (yes, 12!!!) absolutely infuriates me. It is a national disgrace.
  21. the heroin dealer has since apologised for his appalling lack of judgement.
