  1. This referee has made a rod for his own back dishing cards out like sweets! Can definitely see a least one red coming. were frustrating the fuck out of them mind. Arsenal do play some fucking good football.
  2. That'll be because unlike them, we don't obsess about every minute detail regarding their club. Seriously though that comment is hilarious. If I didn't know better I'd say it was ironic sarcasm. but we all know it was fewmed with absolute seriousness.
  3. Managers they've had since they last beat us.
  4. Stunt driver and Rally driver Ken Block - killed in a snowmobile accident.
  5. I "worked" in so much that I could work from home, that there'd be absolutely fuck all to do and that I'd rather us that annual leave for something more worthwhile. My laptop was logged on and in 3 days I made one phone, answered 2 emails and 1 Teams message.
  6. I say the same of Everton & Aston Villa. Absolutely horrible, entitled cunts who have the brass neck to suggest we're the ones deluded and unreasonable. Just fuck off!
  7. tbh that's about as much praise as we can ever likely expect. In terms of the atmosphere, I agree with them about when it was pre-L7. The noise when the Gallowgate corners were finished was utterly insane.
  8. Meanest defence v 2nd meanest defence. Screaming 0-0 although I think one team might just sneak it by the single goal - hopefully us.
  9. It's a fair analysis although I'd lump Arsenal fans in the same bracket as Spurs in that they portray an attitude of having a god-given right to win. Liverpool and Man United are similar. Chelsea appeared to get close to be getting close to that but aside from a small knobhead mentality, I think a lot of their genuine support are relieved to get out of the Ambramovich situation relatively unscathed. As for your team, the only time I've really have issue with Man City was when Nigel de Jong pretty much snapped Hatem Ben Arfa in half. But that was more about the player than the club. There was definite envy when Mansour took over - especially that it was rumoured they'd also been interested in NUFC. Since then I've largely admired they style of football played in the hope that one day we may also be run in a similarly professional manner that reaps rewards both on and off the pitch.
  10. Don't think it goes unnoticed that you're quick to point the fingers at others to start the match thread but don't have the stones to do it yourself. Wannabe Steven Taylor with all that pointed delegation tbh
  11. A bit like Wykiki is Begbie with an English name?

  13. Sounded closer to Lindisfarne’s version than Fender’s for me. But don’t think it was their version either so I reckon it was a cover. It’s definitely NOT a shite tune either. A piece of typical Alan Hull genius.
  14. Not sure about that, I almost died at the last one which was 15 fucking years ago!! 😵
  15. Imitation is the best form of flattery https://www.footyheadlines.com/2022/12/adidas-manchester-united-23-24-away-kit.html
  16. Righto The noise was fucking deafening midway through the 2nd half.
  17. Aside from woeful finishing from Longstaff and Wood doing absolutely nothing of note, my biggest disappointment today was seeing the likes of Bruno, Joe & Wilson biting when Leeds were on the wind up. As you say plenty more teams are going to try that with us.
  18. Easily. It's a marathon, not a sprint - particularly if we want to sustain our place up at the top and not peak and crash. So long as we progress year on year, I'm happy. We are vastly outperforming where we should be and consequently some seem to have allowed their expectations run riot.
