  1. If I stopped boozing alltogether I reckon I could save around £5000 a year. Alarming.
  2. the only evidence of a plan is evidence of a plan to destroy us. Given this is too unbeleivable I reckon its largely been made up on the spot, in bars, after a few Manhattans or while snorting illicits off tits.
  3. This. He will need to sell players simply to pay the thin squad to limp along and hope for the best. The man is a contemptible fool, he has never grasped the fact that no investment means perpetual devaluation of the club. He is on a mission to finish us whether he realises it or not. Mid table will be a result for us till he goes.
  4. Getting drunk's better than being drunk though, isn't it? Anticipation and journey better than the effect? In other news, I've not drunk since Friday night. It's starting to feel weird.
  5. yeah, well i was in Brighton at the weekend with good mates of mine, started boozing about 3 ish but by 11 although drunk I was just bored with feeling drunk. The craic was good, the bar was good, I just felt 'over' being drunk. You know what? I wasn't mixing it up that night. Aaaaaaah......
  6. How many people have curtains in there kitchen these days anyway?
  7. Sometimes I get bored drunk. Does this happen to anyone else?
  8. I've seen this in action. Hermannsburg about an hour west of Alice Springs, is a dry 'town' and almost entirely aborigine. On making the journey to the town and back again I came across 3 car loads of pissed up aboriginies who had been to AS, spent all their money on booze, then ran out of fuel on the way back. It's like crack or heroin to them. Outback Australia is one of the weirdest places on earth.
  9. agreed I reckon Carroll will do well, however don't rule out a decent bid coming in for him and Ashley selling him 2 days before the start of the season to keep things running along till Xmas.
  10. I feel for you more than anyone pundit, you might be stuck with that cock in your chair for months.
  11. Have you explained to them it is, in part, because they were bombing the shit out of us in the forties which lead to the enforcement of shorter drinking hours thus giving us all greater impetus to throw them down, that and the fear of getting bombed. Go on son, you know you want to.
  12. Sunderland is, by approximately 593 parsecs, the worst place I have ever lived. I have lived in the first place in England where bobbies on the beat were issued with handguns and I have lived in fairly dodgy parts of south London. All the good mackems I know have left Sunderland, even if only to Washington or Durham. Newcastle can attract and keep good people. Every student I met at Uni in Sunderland left as soon as they could. Newcastle has its fair share of mongs but they are watered down by good people, Sunderland distills mongs.
  13. My dad used to go to Sunderland and Newcastle games alternate weekends. I've not spoken to him since he told me that like.
  14. Our Day at the Races for their Night at the Orphanage.
  15. Aye, there's a lot of slaver and not much content. A bit like this site really.
  16. Are you only making half a squirt now, or is it just tattied down a bit?
  17. this thread so popular another remind that we are doing FECK ALL in the transfer market. What price zero new signings this window?
  18. fair play mate. Can only imagine how awful that was to go through for you.
  19. I might get one with BLACKJACKS written on the back.
  20. he's a bottler and in the hurly burly huff and puffTM of the CCC his bottle will go quicker than a lush's on payday.
  21. That was fucking mint! Caught the last couple of wickets in the SEVENTH bar I went in, fucking disgrace, national game, epic win, historic victory and all the noncey wine bars and gastro pubs LESS THAN 4 MILES from the home of cricket don't have it. London sucks balls man. Anyway, minor rant over, that was a cracking game and an excellent victory following our reslience at Cardiff. NEXT!
  22. It's raining here this morning lads
  23. Go for it Andrew, passion and strong interest in something can take you a very long way. Video games is a larger industry than movies now and I don't see that changing. Consider how things have progressed in the last 20 years, when you graduate we may be playing online VR games and, sooner or later, people will start shagging over the internet. So make sure you do a module on realistic vaginas.
