That "forgiveness" is above the law of the land and the duty of the law, or what ought to be the law ? I believe that the law of the country has a duty to protect the public, and uphold disciplines in life, this is the purpose of it. don't think I've seen anyone on here say or even intimate that drugs are cool. Having fun is good, and it is up to each and all of us to decide what that is and crack on as long as it harms no one else. That is unless you wish to accept that government knows best. A lot of anaesthetic drugs can cause euphoria etc but the one that is notorious for it is Special K. Ketamine is still available to use as an induction agent and it does have several favourable properties, although as you can imagine, its use is limited by the dysphoric effects, particularly on waking up, so it only tends to be used in certain circumstances, or if you have a particularly eccentric anaesthetist.
