Newcastle United vs Dirty Inbred Mackems (Sunderland)
trophyshy replied to Aeris's topic in Newcastle Forum
About time he was suitably mongikered. -
Imagine how much more free publicity he could get if Newcastle get into Europe? Or, god forbid, we actually won something. The devious bastard.
-
Completely agree with that, but we love a bit of hoofball don't we?

Newcastle United Finances Ending 30th June 2011

£5.4 million POCKETED -
are you commenting on the supposed standard of the thread, and my comments, without reading the thread the Grey man will either ignore it, or pretend he hasn't seen it, or both. I don't read every single one of your posts, I skim the odd one, pick up the repeated phrases and move along. That's considerably better than what a good number of the people in this thread have now done - put you on ignore. Having reviewed the bet I can see you now wish to profit from a lack of relative success at the club. Soopafan status revoked.
-
What's this bet you're on about LM?

Indeed

It's more akin to deleting a channel off your telly as it only shows repeats tbh.

RIP, that's no age.

Yeah, I'm not disagreeing with that and am familiar with the reasoning. My point is about the perspective of football fans. I was vocal in not seeing one Liverpool fan have anything but backing over the shite they got themselves in. I'm advocating supporters separating their support from their judgement. I realise it's fucking hopeless, but still. -

I've also lost count of the amount of Tiote threads they have on there. These days any player seeks any advantage, honour is on the wane as the stakes are so high. If one of their players was elbowed off the ball and went down to exaggerate the incident they would argue the complete opposite. It's frankly ridiculous the forced perspective following one team gives people. And yes all fans are guilty of it. It's pathetic, really. To stamp it out, playacting, they should be able to retrospectively book for it as it is unsporting, although I wonder if that term is relevant anymore. But it was a red card irrespective of Tiote's histrionics. -
If we booed our own players for coming 5th then perhaps we needed to have our expectations lowered. Eh Leazes?

Could do with the obligatory Monkees Heed.

Flavio has an interesting career path.... He started his career as a restaurant manager and insurance salesman in Italy. Convicted in Italy on several fraud charges in the 1980s, he set up a number of successful Benetton franchises as a fugitive in the Virgin Islands and the United States. In 1990, he was promoted by Luciano Benetton to manager of the Benetton Formula One racing team, which became Renault F1 in 2002.
-
Exactly, was it the first training session and he was carrying on like he knew all the players? Well he definitely knew all the shit ones anyway. One manager sacked after a month!
-
I saw that, thought it was fantastic television. That Flavio was class, this player is fucking shit in the air and that player is a cunt. Well worth watching, it was like a satire tbh.
-
It wasn't mate.

Every club we've sold our so called best players to is below us in the league. New contracts for our current top players. £10m spent on one of Europe's hot strikers. 6th in the league. The despair of it.
