  1. All along the Watchtower = Dave Matthews Band, the live in Central Park version is immense There's a crackin version of Paradise City featuring Fergy and Cypress Hill on Slash's new solo Album (on the Aussie or Canadian Versions) not on UK version I don't think, which is a pisser !!!!!
  2. In nigh on Sports Direct colours !!
  3. Our away kit is going to be skins? All black with silver trim, and a printed red armband with a white circle on it and some new club symbol in it.
  4. I'm 53 FFS and since my "Oh look, knee bends three ways" incident playing 5 a side in Turkey, I've retired from arduous pastimes.
  5. Was in standard secondary education (60's/70's) and the school staple was the belt. Never got belted myself but did get the slipper and on one notable occassion off the PE teacher (for throwing javelins like cabers) the Sports Almanac, the latter hurt like hell, to this day I think it's the biggest book I've ever seen in my life. Should bring it all back IMO and as for smacking kids, in my experience you only need to do it once.
  6. So what really was going on eh?? Carnage for a week, reports it's getting better, then "Oh no it's getting bad again" but all of a sudden the air's full of planes again. Smells fishy to me mind, what was flying around when nowt else was (apart from alledged ash).. hmmmmmmmmm
  7. You forgot the serial mass murderers bit
  8. Couldn't care less about a black logo, let's face it, the mackems are a black cat called tibbles compared to our much bigger panther
  9. Brown was abject, whatever he said as his opening statement to a question he then repeated everytime he spoke, that's when he wasn't saying "Nick agrees with me". As for the "we're going to put x,y,z right" You've had fucking years to do just that you twat !!!! Clegg best by a mile, Cameron second, Brown utter shite. Of course labour'll still get hods of votes, because my grandad voted for them you know, it's what we do in our family/area
  10. It happens in nature so it's perfectly natural and acceptable
  11. So homosexuals have sex/relationships with persons of the same sex. Catholic Priests seem to have a penchant for choirboys, so the predator is predating on the same sex, but can't be a homosexual ??? If not, how not. Guardian Article How can sexual abuse of a minor of the same sex as the abuser NOT be homosexual in nature ?? I do accept that to abuse minors you must be "deviant" and not representative of the wider "population".

  13. Thesports editor would be one Bill Bradshaw who is a mackem, then it explains a lot doesnt it! Bill Bradshaw's not to blame, he's a really good bloke* I know him. * For a mackem You've got a Makem mate? fuck off He's not a mate, he's someone I used to work with when I was a kid. I sent him this email two days ago, he hasn't responded yet. Hi Bill I don't know if you remember me but I used to work in your offices when you were editor of The Journal, I was only 17 or so at the time, and you were always a really decent bloke towards me. I was on office junior there and used to assist your PA Sarah, you will remember me because I used to take the piss out of that homosexual Chris Hastings every day and he complained. I've noticed your career has taken off since then massively and well done, The Express is obviously one of the most widely respected and largest newspapers in the country. Now I know you're a Sunderland fan, but whenever I used to chat with you, or I've seen you since on the Sunday Supplement, whenever you've mentioned NUFC you have always been fair and balanced, and it could be because you were from an era when Newcastle and Sunderland supporters had a lot more respect for one another. Which is why I'm shaking my head at the disgraceful vitriolic nonsense from "The Voice of Football", (I know more about football than this cretin and I do) Mick Dennis. Mick Dennis is an idiot, and someone who clearly prostitutes himself as a wind up merchant, or a controversy seeker in order to gain interest in your sports pages. It's either that or The Express have decided to go down an anti-Newcastle United path. Either way he's got no self respect in my view, and no professional integrity. I would like you to read his article about Newcastle United's disloyal fans Bill, and tell me what you think. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/167776...s-still-deluded 43,000 average gate and we are disloyal, despite this being the largest average any club has had outside a top flight division, anywhere on earth since 1974, despite Premiership ticket prices, despite being utterly dragged through the mud with no money to spend. If you have idiots like this writing nonsense like he has, your captive audience will go down. The Express isn't The Star or The Sport, I'm disappointed that such drivel about my club is allowed to be written in order to pacify a Newcastle United hating nation. Best Wishes Steve He'll tow the party line and defend a fellow journalist, have no doubt about it. I'll be amazed if he says, 'Alright, Stevie mate? Aye, I completely agree, he's a total bell-end and that article is the biggest load of shite I've seen since I had a tonne of manure delivered to my back garden'. Are you Chris Hastings ????
  14. However we're losing £500k per week according to the same journalists. So that additional £40m will only put you £14m in the black. So how is it feasible to pay out £20m on players and £20m to Fatty? That would put you £26m in debt wouldnt it? Ergo, we pay £20m off the debt and end up £6m further in the cack??? Im no accountant but my breath is baited waiting to see how that ones recorded on the balance sheet I was being hypothetical, the figures, pulled out of the air, to illustrate a point. Didn't expect to be audited
  15. I'll be worried if this becomes a recurring action. Why ?? IF we spent say £20 mill, and he also takes back £20mill thus reducing the club indebtedness (to him) that'd be OK by me tbh
  16. Utter rubbish What is it about then? What it's about wasn't my point, but "it" is not in any shape or form a WWIII. It's hardy "all out bombing" either, it should be, but it isn't
  17. Agree, and as for the bolded bit: Results, record and league position would suggest otherwise. He deserves a proper chance, now I know many managers who achieve promotion crash and burn, but equally the next Moyes-like standard of manager has to come from somewhere, you never know !!
  18. no, no, you're wrong. It's his "human right"......I expect the left wing loonies on here will defend this for all they are worth. Racists. Edit. Note the comment about Canada ..... "Canada has flirted with allowing Sharia Law zones to be setup with seperate Muslim justice" the fact you guys are holding up FOXNEWS as a source says it all really..... , no agenda there.... Irrespective of source, the fact remains...................
  19. Industry rag which I get to see through work said at the time of the original stories: "Wildcat-ing of the type not seen since the early days of the North Sea, no-one benefits but the speculators" Original stories start = share price up, some sell make some dosh Reality strikes share price drops. What a surprise
  20. this But he had a chance, albeit truncated, in the PL and was utter cuntwash. Aye in a period of utter carnage, most managers have to "learn their trade", he deserves the chance.
  21. Lake Superior...more of an Inland sea than a lake really, Lake Ontario is thsmallest or second smallest. I grew up on the shores of Lake Ontario in St. Catharines, any RUSH fans on here? Lakeside park is a killer song and home to most of my underage drinking debacles. but I digress, Superior is HUGE , if your spread all the water out evenly you could cover the entire North and South American continents to a depth of one foot (10% of worlds fresh water) Been out fishing on Lake Michigan, that's awfully big an all, you know you're going "out on a lake" but you don't appeciate how big it is until you turn around and can't see land. As an aside, my brother in law was shipwrecked on Michigan (on a proper ship!!!) met his future wife (now my sis in law) when the locals rallied round to feed/clothe etc. the stranded sailors.
  22. Long story, short version: I rent my house to NUFC via a letting agent who house the younger non-mansion owning players, in discussions with said agents they mentioned there's one "horrible" player they won't touch with a bargepole, was not named directly, but at the time I had little doubt it was Carroll.
