It was very badly worded, should have had big letters saying "TO GUAGE NUMBERS ONLY" at the top. It doesn't mention a parade but it does have a link to road closures which an event on the moor itself wouldn't need. Can't obviously discount the council's input into the chances of any parade though.

Au contraire It's not a ballot, it'll be sectioned to manage site traffic and it's to gauge interest to assist planning (it actually says that albeit badly worded) - Council/Polis/Ambulance etc. etc. We don't the full plans yet, I'll be amazed if there's not a bus parade likely to end at the Moor. So after all the gnashing of teeth we could end up with a parade AND an event. I'll moan, if needed, when I know all the details.
