We have cover, but we don't have real quality or longevity at RCB, and certainly no pace at CB in general, they're all slow. We need ugrades at RCB, RW and GK, if we sign one position this window my preference is RCB.

I agree with lots of that, but I just don't think the RW we will have identified will be available this month and we won't (and shouldn't) compromise our preferred targets. As I did in the summer, I still think RCB is #1 priority, even more so since Murphy's run of form, because to me Schar looks shot. Could (hopefully) be lack of games recently, but he's been a bit of a liability of late. You can carry average at RW (if Murph gets crocked) but you can't at CB.

That's the thing, how many times in the past years has he played similar balls into a dangerous space but there wasn't a striker with the intelligence to be in the space, unlike Isak who seems to find space at will. He's also two footed, stronger on the right but his left is OK.

On the Miggy sale, we don't need a replacement or upgrade for him, what we want is a replacement and upgrade for Murphy, and on current form that'll have to be one hell of a player and will be very expensive. I suspect they'll go for a young Dibling type in the summer.

True, but I've always thought there was a player in there, maybe now he's had a consistent run and he's at peak fitness/fully Eddie'd, maybe, just maybe, the real Jacob Murphy is in the house. It's not just his overall play, his understanding with Isak is superb, maybe having a striker Murphy has tuned into has helped too.
