....why did he say Unfortunately? I didn't think it was unfortunate...!
-
I sent a daft email back to the lad having not read the part clearly stating what a family ticket actually is. This is what he told me It's stated on the official website, but it wasn't in this email so for some reason I thought that I had just won one ticket with an option to get a free child ticket only if I folked out for another adult ticket.....WHY DID I THINK THAT? It's a faaammily ticket, not a single adult ticket so I gave him a stupid reply back before realizing what I'd actually won....! I've had a long day..............
-
I've won! received an email today confirming I've won a family ticket which apparently is for two adults plus 3 kids. Never really win out me so I am chuffed, but more so for wor' lass as she's always talked of wanting a tour. I've heard its nothing exactly spectacular but all the same I'm looking forward to it. Has anyone on here been on a tour at St James?
-
What you talking about? They had talks...! That was just his excuse because he was not willing to folk out more than what he let him go for.
-
With them losing out on Owen it would certainly be hard to convince them in letting him come here, but as you've said they have been stupid enough to sign that overgrown toothpick.
-
From the BBC's Wednesday's gossip column All thou I can see why supporters would like to see Alan Smith here with his game being similar to our current number 9 in how he gets involved I would definitely like to see this fella here too. I think like Owen he'd guarantee you goals and with the desire to play more regularly and to do well I think his heart would definitely be there too. We're showing ambition with the signings we've made while Liverpool showed what they were & are capable of after winning the champions league last season. He may not be lifting that trophy again for a while if he signed for us but unlike Liverpool he would be guarantied 1st team football. IMO, if he becomes more frustrated and wants to leave I think if we went in for him we'd have a really good chance of signing him.

Well, after all that we're going to Blackpool! Not to worry thou, all those ideas are great for the both of us in future and useful to other board members too like my self who don't have the first idea. I'd definitely be checking out those Slapton Sands She's a little nerves as its her first time really getting 'out there' in the car but I'm sure after the first time she'll be looking to do it more often so those ideas will be very useful. Cheers!

I always tell her to have a look at her A-Z and plan her route but she prefers to get lost and waste her petrol. Never heard of Warkworth but will look it up.
-
Another good idea. I was thinking the same all thou my lass just started driving last year so she's still pretty new in finding her way about, especially outside of Newcastle but I will look into how to get over there and see what's near by. She'll have to have a drive down here first thou and have a look on the net me thinks.

I’m glad you mentioned York as she talked about it too as it happens, so could certainly be worth checking out. What travel agent did you book your holiday through? We're just after 3 nights too, It would be great if we could get away somewhere like that and that's a good price for a 4 star hotel too.
-
Is a good idea. Mostly indoor activities which would be ideal, but again I have to find the right price.
-
Yeah, during the day is hot enough, but night time is like being back home. I think abroad probably is the best option. I'll definitely look into that. Obviously we want to pick somewhere pretty laid back & preferably hot!
-
Cheers mate, I'll look into it. Would be a nice surprise for the other half.

With her being skint at the moment I've told her I'll take care of things so I'm looking for something quite resonable Missed out on Haggerston Castle on the weekend because she has to take her car down for its MOT and get a part fitted on Monday. Haggerston Castle is still an option thou. The lakes seemed quite pricey. I could folk out but would be struggling a bit this month.

We’re off work this week so we’re looking to get away. Anywhere really, but it doesn’t look like it’ll be abroad. We did plan on booking a lot earlier but things cropped up so we’re in a situation now where anywhere will do. If there’s anywhere you lot could recommend for reasonable prices too we’d certainly appreciate it. I’m looking as it happens having access to the web but thought I’d get a better deal asking you lot. Somewhere where there’s activities or things to get up to during the day and probably a laid back, but entertaining night-life too, she’s got the car, but I haven’t a clue…!

We seriously wanna sack the physios!

Never really have had the chance to be honest. I train most days, especially weekends. There's a lot I have to study for through work and also while nearing towards my driving test I've had to get into my theory. I see my bint when I can as she works for a solicitors, intelligent lass, yet....with ME...! But I've said for a long time that I'm going to try my best to get at least two tickets for the mackems game when the box office opens on the 13th at 1:30 so fingers crossed. If not, then I’ll more than likely be in town watching it. My lass is Newcastle daft so she’ll fit n just nicely.

I'll sneak you a shandy man
-
I'm gonna try and get tickets so might see you lot again.

My dad idolised the man so I grew up listening and appreciating the great songs he made. I think my parents had been to see him live a good few times, even at St James Park! Now that my dad has passed away I appreciate and listen to his music a lot more. He's a truly great poet and musical artist.

I can confirm Jimbo is right.
-
Ok, why should we have kept him? Because he can rap...!? Why do you think Portsmouth were the team that got him? He was too raw, and I don't mean that in a hip hop happening way, I mean too average. He had an attitude problem too, something which would have made him look good working in hipperty hop, but not in the professional game of football. He did look exciting when we bought him but just never really played the game to a professional standard.
-
He tries to hijack anyone who scores to get in front of the cameras just like Rio does.

Thing is thou when you do see security on the Metro do you think any charvers are gonna be stupid enough to do anything when they're around? IMO they should be under cover whether they are patrolling the streets or making sure people can travel safety. I used to live right next to a school with a pretty bad reputation and every time my fence was set on fire, vandalised or kids were jumping in & out of my garden there was nothing I could do. Because one, it is not the teachers responsibility when kids are out of school and two if you do call the police they'll turn up too late. They did start appearing at dinner times when they'd cause trouble but again they aren't going to do anything seeing two bobbies standing across the street from them. I guarantee they'd catch a lot more of these c*nts if they were undercover.

Good of you to stand up and do something about it all thou obviously you wish you hadn't. I was getting the bus back today and two of them little fuckwitts set a stink bomb off upstairs. It was so bad that down stairs where I was sitting you could smell it just as bad. Despite complaints to the driver from a few passengers the driver did fuck all. and you'll never guess what. the driver was a woman.
