  1. Now you might remember I have made maybe just a couple of threads about this in the past, but at least this time I have a teaser trailer and a few pics to back it up on it hopefully being a success. They've adapted the original Silent Hill storyline and mixed it up a little with the follow up games Silent Hill 2 & 3. If you've played Silent Hill 2 you would have came across this nice looking chap, Pyramid Head, whose said to be in it. You can actually just catch a glance of him in the teaser throwing something about. While instead of Harry Mason, you have Rose played by Radha Mitchell as the main character. You do have previous characters from the original Silent Hill game thou like Dahlia Gillespie played by Deborah Kara Unger. Alessa Gillespie played by Tanya Allen. Cybil Bennet played by Laurie Holden. But instead of Cheryl who was the missing daughter of Harry Mason you have Sharon who is played by Jodelle Ferland who starred in the spooky Kingdom Hospital series. There's also a main role for Sean Bean.
  2. I thought it was a good idea too. I'm not too keen on what they've done with him in the costume department, and as for him leaping about like the character does in action I just hope they don't make it look like a panto...! As for Kelsey himself as an actor playing the part I don’t think there's anybody else out there who could play the part better, he even sounds like Beast, if you have watched the animated series you'll know what I mean.
  3. It's a different director this time around. Bryan Singer has chosen to direct the new Superman movie instead so Brett Ratner who directed Red Dragon, After Sunset, Rush Hour 1 & 2 is directing X-Men this time around. I thought Red Dragon was a great addition to the Hannibal series after Jonathan Demme & Ridley Scott had directed the previous two. I've always felt X-Men needed that dark edge or realism to make it a batter movie rather than going the same route the Batman movies went from classic film to comic book. Maybe Brett Ratner will do just that and this time if the saga is to be continued the movie could be longer than the previous two. EDIT: I hear there's going to be a spin-off for a Wolverine movie in the making? All thou Wolverine is clearly the most popular character in the X-Men movies I'd never seperate the two, IMO.
  4. No longer in it... Nightcrawler Sabertooth Toad
  5. Nah, I think the idea of evolution with human mutation development sounds more realistic than a humongous giant gorilla found on an Island that hasn't been discovered before. X-MEN! X-MEN! X-MEN! X-MEN! X-MEN! ...Would you say no?
  6. Maybe one day I could have a job where whether I'm ill or not I can sit back and just do knowt, eh!
  7. It's so bad that I had my mam ring my boss!
  8. Thanx again peeps. Off work suffering with flu at the moment so you'll probably see me make more than one post today.
  9. While he does look laughable they have done a pretty good job in making him look like Beast in the up & coming movie X-Men 3. Check out the trailer and see Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut! http://www.x3movie.com
  10. cheers all, off to bed now and in an hour it will all be over.......
  11. Nope! I started off at the new Sports Cafe, which I was very impressed by all thou it was a little bit expensive because it was a match day. I then headed to Gotham town to meet a couple of people so we only had the one in there, which is more than enough for me as far as that place goes...! We then headed to the Lodge, The Long bar, the Telegraph, Balmbras Reflex at the bottom of the Pigg market then finished off at Blu Bambu...!
  12. Yeah I know We can only hope, eh! cheers
  13. Cheers lads & lasses. Had a good night...well day out yesterday and off for a meal today. A pity the toon didn't make it extra special, I guess I can't have it all thou...!
  14. Sorry for the late reply, been too....lazy Jill, that's a very good offer which I might take up as I am looking to buy one for a friend of mine. I'm gonna have a look thou in the mean time to see if I can get a good deal with possibly a case and few bits and bobs that come with it as he's just starting off like me. I've been told I'm getting one for Christmas So I'll inform me mother of each place you lot have generously gave a mention.
  15. I did like Bar-Oz too, but they've shut it down and refurbished the place with a new name. Must have been that naff Aussie theme it had to it.
  16. I just normally go clubbing there on a night time. Just sometimes like....... Revolution is a canny bar, might pop in there, but was thinking more towards the quayside for a change. The central will probably do like, especially if I do end up clubbing.
  17. Was having a look on ebay, but would like to know for sure that the quality of the purchase is definitely genuine and basically get to know what other places have to otffer so I really appreciate your recommendations. I think for a good acoustic guitar you would be looking to pay around £60, that's fine but I was also thinking of getting one as a gift for a friend of mine too.
  18. Can't say I've really been arsed for a good while to go out on nights like this as often as I used too. Maybe it's because I'm in a relationship now, or I feel I'm getting too old for that sort of thing....nah, I'm only 24 man! I do plan on going out on the Saturday, the day before my bday, but despite the fact it’s what you make of it it’s a bit crap when you end up in the shittiest bars. That normally happens when you try somewhere different instead of the regular places you visit. So, I thought I’d ask you lot what bars you’d recommend. It does depend on what your personally looking for I suppose so I’ll name a few places I visit to give you an idea. Goose Old Orleans Pacific Bar Café The Mushroom The Long Bar Yates's Mood I know these threads have been done a million times like but, well, err....no but, yeah but, no but yeah but, .....I couldn't be arsed to use the search function, so there!
  19. It's a pile of poo and a total waste of money. They need to come up with a new idea for the place. I think there is an upstairs, haven't been there in a 'good' while and never shall return...!
  20. Have always been interested in playing the guitar. Just one of those things you have to do before you die. Now I don't expect to be up there with Clapton and Knopfler, but it would be nice to kick back and play a few tunes before hopefully having a go at playing an electric guitar. 'Neighbours' be warned! I don't suppose you lot know of any place, or website you'd recommend in buying a new acoustic guitar?
  21. I forgot to mention charvs are not very good with jokes too, they tend to come across a bit tasteless....followed by a tumble weed...!
  22. Found this on a website, shhhhhh! http://www.blue-all-over.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/hatton1.mpg great left-hook. like
