  1. We can't even complete a scarf signing properly. Wonder if we'll have any in by the end of the window. 180307[/snapback] Glen has planned numerous visits to the scarf factory in the next two days/three weeks time before making a decision.
  2. May as well bring Micky Quinn back, tb...!
  3. Always look on the bright side of life! Da da! Da, da da, da, d,a da! Take a look at that shite in red & white at the stadium of plight! Da da! Da, da da, da, d,a da!
  4. At least when we were finishing 14th/13th in the table we had a player like Shearer always to count on who attracted players to come here to play in the same team as him keeping our dream alive to be back in th top flight. It was essential to get someone of the same caliber and Kuyt looked to be that kind of player we needed to replace him. Now though, what option do we have? We're fucked basically. All we can do is hope that Dyer stays fit and Shola is consistent so we can use them up front. I think we had more of a chance at signing Kuyt than that happening this season...!
  5. I can't remember the last time I saw that kind of movement and passing from England, they were great. They looked like Premiership side; always attacking every time they got the ball which is how it should be! They were a hell of a lot more organised than what they were in the World Cup and you have to put that down to the manager. You saw 'a lot' of long balls in the world cup especially to the strikers. They never really passed it about like they did last night; they would just look for a mistake from the opposition before deciding to break forward. The ball would either be played to Beckham or Rooney in the world cup, but now everyone's given the chance to get involved. They looked as though they were so used to playing that ball to the right than the left-wing ignoring downing when he was open and ready for the ball, but that soon changed and you saw a lot more down the left with Ashley Cole working well with Downing on the left flank. Gerrard was able to drift where he wanted with Gary Neville & Owen Hargreaves filling any gap left by the attack. Lampard still didn't really impress me, Gerrard was doing all the running in attack while Lampard sat back which credit to him he passed the ball about well. The back four looked well organised, especially when the pressure was on, but I wasn’t impressed with Defoe, he was shite! His passing was dreadful and vision was terrible. He only made one good move down the left side of the pitch but he never had a sniff on goal unlike Crouch who worked his bollocks off.
  6. If he does sign for Liverpool I hope we sign a striker today or tomorrow after wasting all this fucking time pussyfooting around him.
  7. I really think Shola will do well this season, providing we sign someone decent enough alongside him.
  8. I tell you what, next time I'm in town and I fancy a meal I'll just give you a buzz, eh I would say something over about £20...! I don't see any point in going in restaurants who charge you stupid prices when you can go somewhere reasonable and get the best scan ever, like the waterline for example. You can watch your scran being made there and its quality!
  9. I don't think he's ever really came out and denied anything being said. You would have thought he would have done by now if he's determined to play for Liverpool speaking up about them rather than us. I don't know what to believe either. I'm sick of fucking waiting on what's going to happen, tbh...!
  10. Then again if it is true that he said those things about us then he might favour us more, plus he's knows he's guarantied to start most games for us. I know a lot of players say stuff like this just to get other clubs interested, but what you normally hear instead of what Kuyt has said is that they want to move to the Premiership and play for a big club. Not I want to be the new Shearer and bet he new hero of our supporters wearing the number nine shirt (whether that’s true or not)
  11. Hopefully what goes around comes around....except for the train of course ...errr....*cough cough* I'll...get my coat....
  12. From http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/tyne/4795795.stm Fucking scumbags! I hope they get what's coming to them with similar consequences. Really boils my piss to see cruelty like this. You wouldn't dream of a group of kids doing something like this when you were a kid, why are people so fucked up in the head now...!
  13. We've got Zoggy who we can always rely on if he isn’t involved against Wigan so it’s not all bad...!
  14. Talk about an arsey referee! I'd be jumping over the advertising boards to nut the ref if this happened at St James...! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9XE6qJSAtA
  15. Bikini Karate Babes! Probably not suitable for work
  16. Of course he does. He's very considerate our Noelie.
  17. Why state the obvious? It's the whole 'not sure to buy' thing I'm talking about...! It's the fact that this season is drawing nearer and ideally you want to integrate those new players into your squad before the season kicks off. The fact that Roeder states he's not convinced or is saying this to fog the media off while he may well be making inquiries is frustrating from a supporters point of view with the season drawing nearer. If he had have kept his mouth shut instead of saying in two days time, this time next week, talking about from 5/6 players coming to 1 or 2 might have something to do with it.
  18. My responce was directed at the situation with Kuyt, Roader not wiling to even see what his asking price is and all...
  19. anything produced by dr dre, tbh.
  20. What do you think! -----------Shola------Martins ---Duff----------Dyer------Milner Zoggy----------Parker--------Nobby -------Gravesen------Butt--------- ----------------Given---------------
