There's two or three songs on there that I know she loves, but I guess as far as the rest go I'm just going for the classic love songs...but I can't go wrong there, right? I can understand the whole love theme but surely it'll be better to not give her a terrible CD? Fair enough, put on the two or three that she loves (and any others that you think are actually good from that list) but there are plenty of love songs available - there's no need to pick all the crap, overused ones. You probably know what her taste in music is like, put on some songs that she likes listening to and then stick on some she might not know too well that you like. It doesn't have to be cheesy to be a love song. Add a personal touch, I dare you! C'mon then, what love songs would you recommend that aren't overused, as you said there was plenty of other love songs available? The songs I picked are classics that I like that I know she will too, but the idea of just songs, whether its a love song or not is a good one so I'll keep that in mind.

Personally can't stand any of the above, but then that's just my opinion Why don't you have a look on Amazon at all the compilation lovey-dovey CD's and see if there are any tracks that you want to add on? If you want a personal recommondation for something then I think one of the beeyootifullest love songs ever is "She" by Elvis Costello. She loves the 1st song, more so because of the film. I used my initiative on the last three Will have a browse as recommended .... but 'She' as mentioned, we'll keep that in mind when we're in our 60's

It's know it's all commercial shite, but its only one day and your only buying for one person so its not all bad. I guess it all depends on the couple's tastes, but certainly it seems the majority like to make a night of it. Anyhoo, swiftly moving on! I'm trying to be a little creative this time around and have put together a CD, amongst other little gifts. Here's my track list so far. Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes - (I've Had) the Time of My Life Chris de Burgh - Lady in Red Joe Cocker - You Are So Beautiful Lionel Richie And Diana Ross - Endless Love Phil Collins - A Groovy Kind of Love Aerosmith - I Don't Want to Miss a Thing Bryan Adams - Please Forgive Me Bruce Springsteen - Secret Garden Robbie Williams - Feel Elton John - Your Song Eric Clapton (Cream) - Wonderful Tonight I think I've done pretty well, but would like to add more to it so was wondering if you lot have perhaps a song in mind I've missed out that should be there? I have missed out songs like Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers & Between The Sheets by the Isley Brothers as, well.....they are a bit too soppy for our tastes.

Sorry like, but couldn't help but laugh when I heard one of the school teachers say on the news...."I didn't know, I mean, he always used to hand his homework in on time....!" Hmmmm, that really justifies not realising....! : lol:

I think with Duff back we've got enough attack on the wings with also the option of Dyer linking up in attack too so I wouldn't be that worried if that was true regarding J. Barton. Matty P sadly isn't good enough & Alan O'Brien has lost his bottle to take players on too so I think with Duff back he will make all the difference and give us a bit more balance and attacking options.

Or Jenas... It seems Jenas has went a bit down hill now that Spurs have cut off his arms and just use him as a football training ground dummy....!
