fooking hell So no Butlins this year, Barney?

Weird time to post I know, but I've been to Cala D'Or, Boyo, and really liked it, especially compared to some of the other areas of Mallorca. Hasn't got a massive nightlife but should be good if you're with your lass - don't let the fact I like it put you off. And for SnakeHips: Gran Canaria eez a strictzly only Jorman island. Just so you know -like the Brits cling to Tenerife etc! Are you staying in Playe del Ingles/Masapolomas (sp?) or somewhere else? I've canceled the holiday. Nah, that's what I've heard Renton. All the reviews from 2006 onwards have pretty much been 10/10, so that's great. We're just looking for something like you said. We're not arsed with a jumping nightlife, we just want a variety of entertainment, a few bars, cafes, shops & restaurants with the beach near by. The accommodation looks great too, with plenty on offer at the hotel to stay there the odd night. Can't wait!

I never even noticed that before. Thank god it's not Monday again.... Beye had Shearer in his back pocket when we played Marseille in the Uefa Cup two or three years ago. I think with Rozehnal here from PSG after having a good season with them Beye could jump at the chance to join us. Haven't seen much speculation around Wayne Bridge coming here, but one transfer at a time, eh.

Hangeland is actually a central defender, but apparently can play as a defensive midfielder. He in central defence all season for FCK in the Danish premiership. Strong header, but doesn't look that fast. He playeds alongside Michael Gravgaard, that was a toon target earlier. IMO going for Hypia would be the wiser choice, instead of Hangeland. They have similiar qualities, but Hypia have at least proven himself in the Premier League, though Hangeland is alot younger Seems to be making an impact over there, and we need someone in our defence who can head the ball when it comes to set-pieces. I'm sure he'd do a job alongside Rozehnal despite his age, he's a big lad...!

Looked like a great prospect two or three years ago and it's a big shame he never stepped up his game. His loss! Just hope the likes of Carroll, Huntington & Edgar rise to the challenge in a season or two to have some more local lads come through the ranks
