Aye and we need to get Isak involved more. Get him running at people. One of Tonali and Bruno can hopefully step up in the final third now. Bruno has been hopeless there lately, but he has shown he's more than capable. Needs a bit of confidence.

I'm hoping Gordon will find his way to the right and that gets Barnes starting on the left eventually. Maybe this is a transition, getting upto speed thing. Same with Hall.

You'd think they're mental to reject that money for Salah, especially if the offer is increased. But once you start thinking about it how many top class forwards are there around these days they could sign? Unless they can prize Mbappe away from his Real move or something they're realistically looking at a Nunez type signing that may or may not work out. Salah still gives them another year or two which could be critical in getting back to the CL. Might still be tempted if the 200M comes in mind, that's just crazy money.

I'd take a point, 3 would be fantastic. If we dont get a result it had better be because they play brilliantly and not us shooting ourselves in the foot again. I hope Howe can find a way to start Barnes and Gordon. Bruno needs to cut out the critical errors and we need to get Isak more involved. If Willock is able to play a role that would be a big plus, we've missed his ball carrying ability and the space he can open with all the running.

Somebody mentioned Willock and that's a good shout, he was a very important, often underrated part of the side last season. Not that he alone would have changed much, too many things went wrong yesterday.

Still can't believe what happened yesterday. All in all you just have to put it down to experience now and move on. Howe will definitely be sending out the same message and hoepfully learning from it himself too. We lost the same fixtures last season as well. What's clear is we now have a stronger squad and very much the ability to repeat last season. The target should be finish in the CL places and have a decent run in the CL/Cups. That would be another fantastic season, and there's no reason why we still can't do that. There will be more of these hiccups as we play these fixtures under increasing scrutiny and spotlight, as we're expected to compete rather than roll over. By God though, still can't believe what we did yesterday

We've also failed to get Isak involved over the last 2 games. You can say he's had bad games and he did have a couple of poor touches, but we hardly ever got him behind or running at the defence which is what he does best. The slow meandering sideways passed tonight we're so frustrating and then all the chances fell to Miggy ffs. Not getting over this anyone soon

Was Tindall complaining about something? Klopp was going mad at the dismissal which I think is when Tindall did that.

The subs could really have been down to fitness. Which is probably why Almiron plays so much.

I think Bruno did well without being spectacular, until that gaffe at the end. Which is becoming a regular story. Big test for Howe now, to get the lads dusted off after this and get them going for Brighton who'll also be looking to bounce back. I hope Botman is okay, or we are truly screwed.

I think we might have had them against 11 men. With 10 we tried to be smart and change our game. Add to that the terrible subs and finishing and we deserved this. Week ruined.
