We've had the ball in space a couple of times but lacking the confidence to do anything with it. This is the game to get it back.

Lineup makes complete sense under the circumstances but we might struggle to unlock their defence with this team. A lot up to Barnes. Strong bench though so you'd hope Gordon, Isak and Tonali can have an impact if needed.

Good news. Agree with the views on here regarding the release clause, it works well for everyone. And we don't know the other stipulations involved, it's probably not as simple as say Liverpool bidding a 100M and getting their man.

Also, its completely natural for even top sides' form to drop off, happens to the best. Constantly adapting and refreshing is something the best teams learn to do over time.

Just one game lads and we were non existent as an attacking force so I'd keep the pitch forks in the cupboard when it comes to Isak and Gordon. I've seen enough from Gordon to know he can develop into a very dangerous player but aye he's far from the finished article right now. Isak has been poor last couple of games, but again, we've offerend nothing going forward as a teeam and he had zero service. He had great impact down the left for us a few times last season but I dont know if that's his best position, we need him running down the center directly at defences once we get our attacking mojo back. No doubt we're a better side with Joelinton the left, been saying that constantly. Where that leaves Barnes I don't know.

This sort of experience will tremendously help in the evolution of this team and the club. Was never going to be easy, all things considered a fantastic point. The fludiity will come back, fact we're grinding out results is a sign of a great team.

The way we finished last season, you would think we'd be going in all guns blazing causing a couple of upsets before bowing out of the CL. That's definitely not happened, we lack the intensity and the press, and its not happening for us going forward. But we're very much in the game, have played some decent possession and could well grind out a result. It's an adjustment, its reality.

We've looked comfortable other than a couple of set pieces and that Leao run. Burn's been the standout weakness again. Would love to see us create more, haven't gotten much going up front despite having decent possession.
