  1. That is true, although Brentford did miss a couple of good chances that say a Liverpool would have buried and we could have easily been 0-2 down.
  2. Can't wait Aye dropping Wilson will be harsh but there's now way we can keep Isak out for long, he's still our most dangerous player and one that needs regular playing time to develop. A confident performance to re-introduce ourselves please. Win would be brilliant but a point with a decent performance would be a very good start to the campaign too.
  3. Longstaff will have given Eddie a real headache for when Tonali and Willock are back. Both technically better footballers yet the work Longy does, breaking up play, his positional sense and how his game complements Bruno, those are big factors in how much better we look when he plays. I still think Joe is at his best on the left with Willock in the center. Where does that leave Barnes? And does Gordon stay on the right, I think we saw enough of him there yesterday to say that can work.
  4. Nah just it's soft for me because Gordon was always going down. Like I said its technically a pen.
  5. I think 'technically' its a pen, but Gordon was looking for it and he sorts of falls into the keeper. Clever play and all but its one of those I'd be incensed at if it was the other way around.
  6. Both clubs should file an appeal to get Pawson binned. Thats the key takeaway from this game.
  7. Seemed to me it wasn't anything over what a player would have in any situation in a game though. It's certainly didn't cause the keeper to make a mess of the ball in. I'd love to see that turned over against Liverpool or ManU
  8. The clean sheet should give everyone some confidence too. Gordon best player for me and Wilson was class in the second half too. Massive relief and good feeling for Milan now
  9. Soft pen from the shite officials. But Gordon's running pays off there. Brilliant pen from Wilson
