  1. That's swiftly become one of my all time favorite goals; the tackle, the one-two, the curling finish to beat Donnarumma and all on this night.
  2. Who starts on the left if Joe isn't fit? Anderson? Hall? Or Isak maybe if Wilson can start. Isak has looked a bit off it recently. Ball control and ability to take on people not close to what we saw last year. Hope he can sort it out for Sunday.
  3. Southgate has got to be the most boring, tedious man in football and downright infuriating if you care about England football team. Good for us though, suspect Longstaff, Burn and Willock last year would have felt hard done by but England aren't winning anything under this dreary slop of a manager so they might as well rest thier legs and make history for Nufc
  4. Tell you what anyone else a bit ticked off by this narrative from pundits and many neutrals that the difference was passion, hardwork beats talent etc etc. There was a lot pre-match about how we lack the quality at this level and will try make up for it with enerygy and commitment. While obviously passion and commitment is at the heart of everything this team does, there are a lot of players that many have underestimated for a while now. A lot of premier league sides got trounced last season and 2 again already this year. Now add PSG to that list. At what point to people start thinking the likes of Longstaff, Schar, Miggy, Joe etc have some serious attributes and its not just plain graft. What do I care though, keep coming up here with an attiude like PSG's yesterday and have a nicely rolled creamy croissant shoved up yer arse.
  5. The breaking bad one doing the rounds is quality too Need to set aside a few hours to go over every little piece of pre/post match analysis, reactions, memes and all the other shite social media self declared pundits/analysts have to offer for this.
  6. Well Im late to the reaction party of course. It fell in the middle of a mental day at work and I had it on on an extra screen at one side. Quite the mixed pot of feelings, wanting to smash in the faces of a couple of utter numpties holding down management level jobs while not being able to add 2 and 2 whilst feeling utterly euphoric at was was going on at Newcastle. We've all been saying this for a while but yesterday the feeling came up again in bounds and leaps, is this really happening and is this really NUFC? To have this group of insanely talented players who wear the shirt with so much pride, let by someone like Howe who not just leads with class but is proving to be a world class manager. The amount of special moments yesterday as well, it couldnt have been scripted better. Burn and Longy. Bruno's performance. I thought Tonali was outstanding in the first half too, the PSG midfield had absolutely zero chance. And that from Schar near the end, just unreal. Can't imagine the scenes around the city after the game, I assume not many went to work today
  7. This, the system and how well drilled the team is is a massive help. Mind you dont want to take anything away from his performances in the last 2 games, he's been brilliant. All that about attitude off the pitch too, top lad.
  8. Tonali too! Slipped a bit under the radar lately. This is what we got him for, big game player. Would be a proper announcement to Europe if we beat these and went to the top of the table. All the more delicious considering what happened at Old Trafford.
  9. Teams can argue they've been relegated off of bad decisions. Fact Liverpool are asking for special treatment shows how entitled they are as a club. Fits in with how they and Klopp reacted to our takeover and the thought of more competition. Nothing to do with human rights or any of that bullshit.
  10. No way a replay happens, if there was the slightest hint of that all the other clubs who've had ridiculous decisions go against them should start opening up cases. He's doing this just to pile on the pressure and get favorable decisions in the coming games. On the whole just continuing to expose himself as the massive arsehole that he is. He is going down the Mourinho road from being widely respected by neutrals to just plain unhinged priveleged prick. Hope his performances soon follow the Mourinho trajectory too.
  11. It's glorious whats happening at Man Utd is. Really hope Ten Hag can stick around for some more time and get in a few more disastrous signings in January.
  12. Its extra hilarious because this has happened to Liverpool, nobody derserved it more.
