I realize they are clinically insane, but the way they carry on about Saudi is pure racism. Embarrasing that none of them seem to realize it/call their mates out on it either. Add a massive dose of ignorance to the mix too. Personally I'd stay completely shut up about human rights in the Middle East with the history the West has there not least in the context of recent events.

As expected proper stone age experience with the club site. Get an email 2 weeks after ordering that we expect to ship within the next 10 days

Hopefully we manage to stick around in Europe till then

Hopefully the lawsuit brought on by other clubs amounts to something significant and cripples them, haven't heard anything about it since the time of the points penalty mind. As for the game we'd easily dispatch this tragic lot under normal circumstances. Obviously the worry for us again is if/when the tiredness catches up with this 11. The team has done remarkably well to manage thus far but how long can they keep it up?

Aye, it's an incredible effort. But its not sustainable. Anybody with a chance of returning on Thursday?

I know Pope was probably the one player we could afford to lose right now since that's the only position we have cover left in. But it's still a big blow imo. His shot stopping has kept us in games when we haven't been playing well, even if the kicking is likely to have us all end up seeing a cardiologist.

Big game player too. Scored against Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea. -

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

It does my head in. Officials struggling to implement basics week in week out and these morons are sitting in an office somewhere trying to think up new ways of complicating things. Probably a case of these men having to try and show that they've produced something to justify their salaries. -

That sounds suspiciously like something that could recur once he starts playing again

This is the game I want to win the most in the season. Although Liverpool at home runs it close now..... It's an incredible week if we get a win here. Hopefully no new injury concerns from Tuesday and one more massive effort to get another victory over the bald prick. Get through December while managing to stay in the hunt for Top 4. After that it all gets easier as players come back in and the window opens.

Hello, reserve that kind of talk for after Saturday please. Do you not know the board's demographic is middle aged supersitious squabble over thread starting duties pissy pants?

He's honestly still going under the radar in terms of what he's done and is doing at the club. People will fawn over Ange's 9 games at Spurs or De Zerbi but when it comes to Howe the general reaction seems to be 'Good coach but probably has take NUFC as far as he can'. Based purely on the fact that he's a young English 'unfashionable' coach. If the club continues to back him with the transfer business, clearly they pay attention to the sort of player he wants to buy and must work closely with Ashworth, I've no doubt he will soon break the trophy drought. And onto bigger things after that.

It was remarkable how well he did at RB as soon as he came in, incredible that he's now slotted in at LB and made it look just as easy against top sides. What a prospect to have, surely a regular over Burn now and gives you the option to rest Trippier when needed.
-
Fingers crossed Barnes can come in soon and we're able to give a bit of a break to Gordon and Isak when possible.

I just think he didnt get as much joy going forwards as he has been recently, tried to dribble a few times and lost the ball. It wasn't a bad performance by any means, just not as good as he has been recently. Which again under the circumstances is completely understandable. I thought Miggy was sensational first half. As was Tino throughout the game. This was blatant daylight robbery. 8 minutes added on a farce and then a disgraceful penalty to top it off. Anybody writing off Howe as having taken us as far as he can is bonkers tbh. The man is a genius. I honestly never believed I'd see a NUFC side as competent as this in my liftetime. We played some great stuff in the first half, looked sharp, confident. Give him a few more windows and this team the experience they are now having, and he'll be battering half arsed cheating cu**s like PSG every week for fun. Can't wait.
