Difficult to be confident about anything this season. West Ham are hit and miss but they've got good players and Paqueta and Kudus can cause serious problems to our shite defence/keeper. The bit of rest will have hopefully done the lads some good, bar Bruno. If we rediscover our usual SJP energy levels we should have enough to beat them. Sausages it is.

Not sure what's your point because despite barely playing he still has more goals than ASM in his last season with us
-
He's probably still faster than Burn.

Must have been a real bore

Everton's next FFP hearing is coming up, give Gemmill some space.

A Roman walks in to a bar and says “I’ll have a martinus.” The bartender says “you mean a martini?” The Roman replies “no, if I wanted a double I would have asked for one.”

That all does make sense but many of us did rather shrug off the charges last year too before he was suspended for 10 months I know its not the same thing but it's going to take a few more years of being run like a normal club before the ingrained bedwettingness subisdes from the general fan base. I get the points being made about Italians in the PL but I thought he was very promising before the ban. A proper Eddie Howe player with tehnical attributes on top. If he can put all this behind him and start the new season fully fit there's a good chance he can be a success.

This is precisely the sort of shite that makes you nervous knowing Nufc's luck. I mean Staveley's troubles by themselves might not spell disaster but I wouldn't be surprised if MBS woke up tomorrow and decided to disband the PIF to buy 200 superyachts and start a floating country or something. Building a long term self sustaining model is absolutely key.

When they same its the same problem but a 'fresh' version it only sounds like it was badly mismanaged. The whole injury situation is beyond a joke now. Serious introspection needed even if in the end it's really just bad luck. Get the bloody training ground and other sponsors in now ffs because that's 2 CBs we need in addition to everything else.

Aye I think Carver and Kinnear give him some competition in being the worst manager I've seen but from what I can remember they were at least relatively more likeable as human beings.

What a pathetic sad little man Bruce is. I honestly can't stand to listen to him. Never did when he was manager and certainly wont be clicking on that link now. As Alex said I'm glad it bothers him and it's very plain to him that despite his pals in the media everyone knows he was just a REALLY SHITE manager and a lazy arsehole on top of it. Fitting that he was the final Ashley manager, the night really is darkest before the dawn.

Surely they wont apply retrospectively though? PL clubs cant be daft enough to approve that, especially the likes of Everton and Forrest, they'll want to see Chelsea burn. -

Well hang on a bit. It's already been in the media that they might be in some trouble for this financial year, it'll be an interesting summer. -
It was probably looking for the bill
-
So does this mean they wont be coming to the US this summer
-
Time will tell, but yes as I said between the PL making a mess of it and the very hard to prove assertions I doubt City will be found guilty. The 'cartel' and the manner in which they act is why most of us find City more tolerable than them. By all means continue to hold the top till we sort out FFP and Pep buggers off.
-
I think he's a good squad option to have when fully fit, especially if we manage to get into Europe again and have the added game next season. But if there's a bid of anything close to $20M, I'd sell for the FFP room of $100M it would open up for us.

Liverpool were so casual at times in that game mind, Klopp's teeth will take a real battering in the dressing room debrief I'm sure. You have to give Man Utd credit for sticking around, when you have a billion pound worth of players all you have to do is stick around and you can get results, its the bare minimum and they do that much at least. It will be typical of them to sneak into 5th and get a CL spot. I just hope Villa and Spurs can muster enough energy to deny them that and put a bit of dent into the finances.
