Probably thinks this is some video-request forum.

I wonder...look at his indifferent, arrogant goal celebrations. I bet he loves it. Two of his goals in particular stand out for me as overhyped. The one against Spurs where he dribbled from his half (yet no Spurs player attempted a tackle) and that backheel, which wasn't even the best goal scored that day (Nicky Butt's scissor kick for us against Brum pips it). 144620 And that goal Dyer scored against Olympiakos in the Uefa Cup. nobody talked about that one.
-
Embarrasing? If he's scoring goals then no one should care if it's embarrasing or not. 144610 Yes, the English shouldnt. But do you think other fans give a damn as to whether England score or not? I was talking from their point of view. 144612 If they don't give a damn if they score or not, why would they be embarrased if he makes a twat of himself in celebrating? If you feel embarassed if an english bloke score and looks like an idiot you are very easily embarrassed. If an indian\brazillian\martian player did that i quite honestly would not be embarrased in the slightest by it. 144614 Not embarrasing for me, for him. I just think its pathetic But yes I'd be embarrased if i was a Liverpool fan.

Owen wasnt as sharp as he can be, but he was involved in 4 goals I think. That set-up for lampard's goals was fantastic. And the crouch dance is pathetic and embarrasing. Makes people wish he doesnt score so we dont have to see it.

ive got it somewhere, i'll upload it and send you a link as soon as possible
-
Great news if true. Bowyers been nothing but a liability for 90% of his time here.
-
What would be people reaction if owen came back seriously injured??
-
thats what robert's son called it
-
Darn it. Villareal will have a pretty decent team next season methinks.
-
Yep, I dont think there's another player in Europe who could score some of the ones he did. And then there were the other 'mad' goals. He left in a rather sad way, with a lot of people forgetting how good he was for us. But I'll never forget some of those magic nights; that game against spurs, that liverpool freekick in the fa cup, and that crazy overhead kick against Fulham.
-
Im surprised he's on a free, maybe we should go for him again?
-
Anybody watched it??
-
Well, the title says it all. A video about us scoring from free kicks, and there have been plenty of those over the last few seasons. Lots of Robert in there, and a bit of Shearer and Solano. Here are the links. If they expire or dont work for whatever reason, please inform me and I'll post new ones. MegaUpload YouSendit FileFront Hope it is worth the effort. Coming up next: Alan Shearer Tribute

If something serious happens to him now, England's world cup dreams are over. Sven should be very careful today.
-
Rubbish You clearly didnt watch him at Deportivo. Having said that there's a chance that his game might not suit this league. However, towards the end of the season he showed signs that he could be coming around. He hasnt had a chance, six starts for heavens sake and even those were with large gaps in between them. Lets not judge him yet

I suppose Campbell still has a couple of good years left in him, his presence could really help develop taylor and bramble. Bid 2M I say and no more But the fact that we've offered elliot a new deal tells me we wont be signing a defender this summer. big mistake imo
-
Beardsley signed for us a second time aged 32 and a mere £250K short of our record transfer value. We got four years out of him! That said, I don't think Vieria is the same player he was a couple of years back and would have reservations about us going for him (everyone used to rave about Butt remember! What needs to be clear though is his age is not automatically a reason for discounting a player! 142153 Lets not compare butt and viera, its like comparing henry and heskey even when butt was in his prime viera is totally different class. the fact that we havent seen him for a year has made a lot of us forget how good he actually was.
-
That would be something And there's nothing more I'd like to see than rubbish like bowyer, faye and butt leave.
-
You're right, but he'd score at least 15 for Wigan. 141304 Only if he gets 10 penalties like he did for palace

So answer me this - why were we much better without Parker in the team? The fact that his disappearance more or less coincided with Souness going might have something to do with it , but seriously, I don't know why people rave about him. As usual I will be proved right with time..... 141135 What a silly argument. Like someone said, that makes chopra and ameobi better than shearer and owen Cant believe how daft somepeople can be. You might as well have said that ronaldinho sucks since chelsea won the title without signing him or the beegees were rubbish because they couldn't sell more albums than the beetles. Thats the kind of argument you are giving. No personal offence mate, but that post just drove me up the wall. 141241 Sorry, your analogies are wrong, because you are comparing entirely different teams or bands. If a team doesn't miss a player, does that not say something about that player? Roeder makes the comparison of Parker and Gerrard. Do you not think Liverpool miss Gerrard when he doesn't play? Do their results improve without him in the team? I don't think so. It's just my opinion, shared by a minority of others, that this year he hasn't contributed enough positive moves to the team. Whether that is all down to Souness or is a limitation of the player I don't know. My personal feeling is that the crowd likw him because he "gives 110%" and wins tackles. For me, that is not enough. I am on record as saying I didn't like Batty, and I feel Parker is a player in the same mould. As for the chip on the shoulder comment (from Brock), don't be daft, I have nowt against the lad, and at least he doesn't get into trouble off the pitch. I made that point as I thought Scottish Mag's comment was daft (and for that matter innaccurate) regarding him saying we haven't played any decent teams when Parker was out. 141314 When the time period is this short, no, because there are a hundred other factors that are involved. And as for the gerrard-parker 'comparison' it wasnt a comparison at all. Roeder was just saying that parker could turn out to be as important for us as gerrard is for liverpool. That doesnt necessarily mean he is going to be as good as gerrard.

Bramble is very very quick whenever ive seen him. Remember that league cup game last season when we lost to chelsea at home after which mourinho said england have the best CBs in the world. That was because robben and joe cole had had a hard time going past bramble that night. In addition the man's probably the strongest player in the premiership, never seen him get out muscled. He's got all the attributes to be a top class CB, but as stated before he can lack concentration which has been his undoing in the past. Ive seen all of our games towards the end of the season, and i have to say bramble was fantastic alongside moore. Hopefully taylor can form a similar partnership with him. He's also not made one of his typical errors for a long time, which is very encouraging. Has he finally turned a new leaf?? Im afraid to say......

They were class tbh

that would be paying way over the odds, johnsons not worth more than 3M imo. I'll be surprised if he could score more than 7-8 goals for a team like bolton.
