    Demba Ba

Horrible hypocritical prick! Knew the speculation was going to start sooner or later though. Lets see how long before another Tiote story.
  2. Anyone got any good pictures of him doing this? Funny how many commentators say he's kissing the ground when he does it. Much appreciated lads!

  4. Amazing night. What a performance. We dominated the champs and who cares if they weren't at their best, hats off to the lads! Canny performances from the likes of Shola, Simpson and Williamson. Just cant get over how good Ba is though, absolutely outstanding! Thought Colo was majestic at the back too, seems so much in control and full of confidence these days. On current form best defender we've had over the last 10 years at least imo, I know thats not saying much, but still First win we've had over the manure since I've been following Newcastle, considering some of the results we've had against them and the resulting banter from the gloryhunting manure fans around here, it was a special special moment
  5. I'd be satisfied with top ten but considering our start and the current league table 7th is what we should be aiming for and naturally many of us will be disappointed if we finish lower. Also many of us expect our better players to leave next summer or this window even, and we know we aren't going to get lucky again with the replacements everytime. What are the chances of us putting together a run like we did earlier this season, with a shot at Europe in sights. Perhaps thats why many of us so desperately want something from this season and as high a finish as possible.
  6. Hopefully Senegal and Ivory Coast will get knocked out a.s.a.p Not likely though
  7. Same result as the Man City game but could hardly have been a more different performance. To begin going with 5 in midfield showed negativity when 4-4-2 has worked so nicely for us, and it was no surprise Reina didnt have to make a single save during the game. I thought Tiote did well at times showing composure and distributed it around nicely. Mind you he does give away some silly freekicks that often cost us. Ba did ok too everytime he got into the game with little flick ons etc and the one chance he got he nearly scored. There just wasnt any service of note to him. Nobody else deserves even a mention from yesterday. Jonas' situation has become very sad to be honest. His game seems to have gone completely off. Dont know to what extent Taylor's incompetence is responsible for this but he needs to try and realize his role is more than running back and making fouls. Shouldn't even bother going into Ubertwat again, ok I cant help it .......HE'S SHITE, ABSOULTE SHITE, GAVE THE BALL AWAY A MLILLION TIMES, HIS PASSING IS ATROCIOUS AND HE'S SHITE SCARED OF RUNNING AT PEOPLE, WHAT A PATHETIC PIECE OF CRAP!!!!........................sorry needed to let that out somewhere.......... Hate to be critizing Pardew right now but it becoming clear he's a very stubborn man. The sad part about yesterday was that Liverpool were mostly crap and were really there for the taking if we had shown even a tiny bit of adventure.
  8. Agreed, he's showing stubbornness and and unwillingness to adapt which wont help us at all in the long term.
  9. Santon was very good I thought, ok it was Swansea and they had no intention of playing but a promising start nonetheless.
  10. Good first half performance but a very average second half one. Big talking point of course again HBA not getting a game, utterly disgusting that! Playing Swansea and then on top of that not even subbing him when it was clear they were here just for the draw and hanging on. Love what you've done this season so far Pards but its becoming painfully obvious that you are stubborn and unwilling to shuffle up things which is starting to cost us!
  11. Extremely disappointing, its almost as if he's trying to insult Ben Arfa.
  12. If Coloccini and Tiote come back, 7 points is very much on the cards! If not then we should be happy with 4.
  13. OOoooOO so forceful. YOU make me wet. Do you have even a passing interest in chess? I do, wanna play? Link me. Sorry, I changed my mind, I'm not in the mood for games right now :/... Easter chicken my ass, I don't even know you, I don't bother playing chess against people I don't know. (for some reason) You guys have Easter chickens too? I thought it was just the bunny and the eggs!
  14. Thanks for the tip, mate. Is it really the first? Any objections? I think they've been made already! Im not happy with him playing Obertan either but to say he needs sacking..........
  15. 'All those wanting to apply for a waste management position, raise your hand!'
  16. Bloody hell they put that sort of things in contracts now? Even if so wouldn't he prefer to play out wide rather than not at all? Anyway the next three games are the type we should be a lot more adventurous in, so he'll probably play a part. At least I hope so. Because we've been doing so well I've been trying to convince myself Pards knows what he's doing as regards selection but its getting a weee bit worrying now because Obertan is playing as bad as could as not getting replaced. Just wish HBA gets a fair chance with us before his time here comes to an end.
  17. When did this become the sack Pardew thread? And does it officially count as the first? There are bound to be some sooner or later
  18. The finishing from Ba yesterday was world class, what in the world are we going to do when he goes off in January?
  19. I dont get the logic of justifying Obertan's inclusion because as a whole we've done well overall this season. That does not mean that a couple of players have not been utter shite. It means others have been making up for it, for instance the Jonas Raylor situation. Suppose we stick with Obertan, get our defensive act together and start winning games again, but that still wont change the fact we're using a player who cant do crap. If we've been doing well before, and do so again, its been and will be despite of him rather than because of him. Why not give someone else a chance, even if its not their best position. Suppose HBA or Sammy come in and do absolutely nothing the whole game, we still wont be any worse off then when playing Obertan.
  20. As if his football wasn't horrible enough, I've started to get images from Alice in wonderland in my head every time I see us play thanks to him
  21. Since the Chelsea game its obvious Raylor has to play for the time being, was speaking in general up to the season so far as regards him. Still no excuse for playing Ubertwat though imo........
  22. There's little other options for those positions though. Even with a fully fit squad. I think a lot of us here agreed Santon, even out of position, needed to get in for Taylor because he could hardly be any worse. Same for Ubertwat. Ben Arfa or even Sammy are a lot more likely to contribute to the game than he is. Its getting a bit frustrating because it seems to me Pards is just unwilling to accept he's put his faith in some wrong players. I mean, its so painfully obvious those two are shite, we've been thinking of so many reasons as to why he's kept going with them but each game it becomes more and more obvious its just donkey headedness.
