  1. You gota love the concept of God supposed to be playing baby sitter to everyone and making sure everything is fine and dandy and that his job is to make sure we are all happy and jumping with joy. The concept behind most faiths is that life is a test, for the real world to come. And here we are judging Him on what is actually supposed to be our test. Doesn't make much sense to me.
  2. Ah so the theme is the problem! Using the white one.
  3. Is it just me or are the quotes illegible? Change the font colour mate!
  4. This. This is the first time in a long time we've looked like a proper club that with the ability to challenge for something big. Stability is key now, never thought I'd say this but we need the fat one now. As long as he doesn't show his face too often
  5. I know Colo is well thought of here but in general I dont think many people realize just how good he is. By far the most comfortable defender on the ball in this league and one of those players who makes everyone else around him seem better than they are. Santon was something else yesterday as well.
  6. Best thing is we're doing it in style as well! Its a nice change to see everyone talking about just how good this team is on whatever website you go. A fair few of us are eating humble pie, but it sure tastes good!
  7. Al Habsi (Wigan) Johnson (Liverpool) Kompany (Man City) Coloccini (Newcastle) Baines (Everton) Mata (Chelsea) Sigurdsson (Swansea) Dembele (Fulham) Bale (Spurs) Van Persie (Arsenal) Rooney (Man Utd) Subs: Robinson (Balckburn) Shawcross (Stoke) Holt (Norwich) Warnock (Villa) Jarvis (Wolves) M.Petrov (Bolton) Sessegnon (Sunderland)
  8. 3. Our tactics at Stoke and the towel thing 2. Cabaye's cracker against Man Utd and that night in general. 1. Ben Arfa yesterday, simply because I thought only Messi was allowed to do that sort of thing. And seeing it live I couldn't believe me eyes, you can see from the replays how good the goal was, but seeing it live was just something else. Must have been even better for those at the stadium. Been an amazing season with some amazing goals, I really hope someone puts together a nice end of season video. And anybody got any links to some good photos/wallpapers? Can't bloody seem to find many.
  9. We don't want to get into the champions league and jeopardise the push for the champions league next season. Qualifying for the CL this season but not next season would confirm our place as a club that is never going to progress. That's simply not a risk I'm prepared to take. If we made it to the Europa its still no guarantee we'd do it again next year. However a CL finish now and the extra cash with it that could allow to us to strengthen the squad better than we otherwise would might give us a better chance of being consistent finishers in the top 6 or 7 over the next few years. And there's that gut feeling, playing in the CL again...would be magic...even if for one season I think the race is definitely on, we are not the favourites for it though and dont think Pards will publicly say we are going for it, but it you can tell from the way the team is playing it is definitely on!
  10. Brilliant Stuff. Cisse is starting to get scary now, two world class finishes. Especially that second one, one of those moments when time seems to slow down, absolutely outstanding! We have a few unsung heroes though. Jonas seems to have completely sacrificed his game for the team. And Ba recently as well. You could see he was a bit frustrated when he came off, doesnt like being outshone, its good to have hunger like that. And he's hardly the type to become sour over it. Perch and Williamson solid again. Dont know what Perch has been having for breakfast recently but they should get everyone on it. Thought Santon was our best defender though today. Cabaye a bit more like himself at long last, providing those final balls that were the difference between the two teams today. HBA not as brilliant as the last two games and gave the ball away in dangerous places a couple of times. All in all absolutely loving this from the lads, the graft combined with the quality. And Pardew with another tactical masterclass today. We seemed to have a plan throughout. Hopefully Tiote's injury isn't too bad!!
  11. Thought we would miss Colo today but Perch and Williamson were immense!
  12. Aye we need some wallpapers out of this one
  13. What a day Couldn't have asked for more, top performance. And Caroll and Enrique having an absolute nightmare! Fantastic. Getting that old feeling back, like during the days of Sir Bobby. We showed some genuine quality today. Tactics from Pards spot on, the structure of the side, the style of play. Everyone knew their role and seemed to be suited for it. Loving how we're using Shola now, he's been a real asset coming on from the bench lately. And most importantly Obertan is not playing. And HBA getting a run of games and proving what we've been saying about him all season. Super day, super!!!
  14. Thats what we're talking about! He's probably cursed it though now.
  15. Nothing. Just that money has got much more to do with the game today then it ever should.
  16. Cos the FA get all the money when there played at Wembley. Disgusting
  17. Aye thats what I was hinting at, dont know why the cant hold it in Cardiff or any of the other big stadiums around the country.
  18. And preferably in the final
  19. You should have started watching a local team in the flesh No such options mate I agree with you to an extent on the relegation thing. But even for those primarily concerned with match going experience, doesn't the quality of opposition, quality of players, grounds etc make a major difference. I dont know personally, but I've often heard people talk about this shite ground and that shite place to travel too etc etc.
  20. Hmmm I can see where you are coming from, but its crazy!!! I wouldn't take it personally. Relegation and all its dangers a bit too much for me. And that one season we did spend down was painful, as I was able to see just one game on the tele throughout the year. No NUFC for a year it meant basically
  21. Part of me thinks our chances of getting to Europe via the cup final might not be that much worse than doing it by finishing 7th.
