Disappointed to see Emre wave his hand like that to signify a card, thats the kind of behaviour expected from wankers like Mourinho and Ronaldo. Emre has got a bad temper, was one of the instigators in that Turkey-Switzerland tunnel incident. But I would like to know how the Everton fans heard him say anything in all that noise, and on what evidence the FA are carrying out this investigation.

He's eligible according to BBC http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/e...rem/6205747.stm

If that happens then I will blame the fans. Well, those at the match anyway. Too many people throwing around banana skins at SJP Ive heard

I wouldnt bid more than 2M for either Beattie or Upson. Neill would be great though, I think Hughes admitted he might think about selling him in a recent interview. His contract is up in the summer isnt it?
-
Great news But I'll have nightmares about him breaking down on his comeback should he return early.

Embarrasing

Im glad this is not on TV, less painful following the game through text. 2-0 now, absolute joke And yes, another corner, fantastic defending again. Cant wait until we sign another striker in January.

We got a penalty, which Martins missed in spectacular fashion.
-
Martins with one of the worst penalties you'll ever see. Butt playing at Centre Back with Ramage gone off injured.

Do you get a good idea of the atmosphere from the media on that site? Out of interest. Nah, just changed servers. Old board had over 1000 members, its gone down for some reason and most people probably think the site must have shut down. But it'll get there And it didnt get shut down because of all the copyright crap.

I'll offer him my armchair once he gets here I say, that's awfully decent of you, especially after he has been so awful to you (you wouldn't booby-trap the armchair would you?) A whoopie cushion ought to teach him
-
Only the fans who go to the match like. Wankers, all of you. Gemmill needs to go to pakistan to establish proper perspective. I'll offer him my armchair once he gets here By the way I dont think the fans make anyone feel lazy, but sometimes they can have an effect on player confidence. Titus' case for example. Having said that good players learn to deal with that, Titus' or anyone else's inability to do so means they are not fit for playing at this level.

I dont think we get the full picture! But a fair enough idea of what was going on you do get. Look, so maybe my first post came out as pompous. If so excuse me and forgive me, wasnt my intention at all. I made it 10 minutes after the game and I was a fair bit frustrated and perhaps not as careful with words as I should have been. But some of the response was still unwarranted. It seems to me that leaning towards a slightly different opninon on this board is asking for trouble. Not just my posts, I know you lads think Im crazy, but Ive noticed anybody who seems to have a, lets say 'revolutionary idea' gest a fair bit of stick. This place reminds me of a group of old Grandma's sitting together, everybody sharing their common problems and past experiences with each other and congratulating each other on their wisdom and how well they've done with their kids and all that. Anybody who says 'well, I think this or that could have been done differently' is kicked out. That's bollocks, I get disagreed with constantly, and I disagree with other people constantly. I still don't feel like I'm being persecuted, and many of those I disagree with seem pretty sound people. Fact is, the more you rise to it, the more people are going to try and provoke you. Personally I just stop reading threads I'm involved in where it's starting to degenerate into bickering. I think most people here know it's all just tongue-in-cheek to an extent, and just enjoy the arguing. I know that whenever I personally say something iffy it's usually with the intention of winding up (works, too), rather than your genuine supercilliousness. Nice to hear some abuse free stuff from you, sense as well. Not about my post being bullocks of course but the rest of it In fact I'll take your advice and stop reading this thread now. This forum is shit tbh. Too many people agreeing with each other. Crap Im reading the thread again.

Please don't tell me you're that stupid that you make a comment like you did without expecting people's backs to be up as a result? Your comment about the people being there being the "12th man to the opposition" is frankly insulting to those who've paid their money to go. I'm not in the least bit surprised they responded the way they did. Probably wouldnt have said it had I made the post an hour or so after the game. But it was five minutes after, I was fuming, and I felt the crowd was....erm....you know. I admitt that comment was unfair, and Ive apologized for it. But I stubbornly stand by everything else Ive said

Disaster for Pakistan cricket. Now I know how the scum must have felt after Ferdinand's ban. Except they had people to step in and we dont really. And all this with the world cup around the corner and us having a real chance. Dont see us doing too well in the Carribean now. Thats Shoaib gone I think. Asif was looking so good and this will hamper his career considerably. Both should be skinned alive to be honest, such a careless attitude at such a vital time As if the problems with Nufc werent enough..........

Unlike you, I was there yesterday and I can categorically say there was no booing whatsoever until the final whistle, when boong is perfectly acceptable imo. You have absolutely no rights to criticise the people going to the match when you have no way of knowing what actually happened, let alone contributed anything yourself. Actually, you do have the right to say what you think (which is based on what, exactly?), but that doesn't mean you aren't talking absolute bollocks, does it? Have know way of knowing what had happened? What do you think Im sitting in an Igloo here? Why is it that armchair fans can't accept that the reason people actually do go to games is ther might possibly be a difference in the experience ie real versus imaginary? There is. But that doesnt mean the full picture doesnt come out on the TV. Plus there's the internet etc these days through which you can really get to know what happened from the eyes of people who were there cant you?

Suppose somebody murders a person at St James' one day. So I would have no right in saying he did something wrong because I wasnt there? What this about rights? Ive got the right to say whatever I like. I would have thought the murder was wrong and I would have said it. I think the booing was wrong so I said it. I didnt even insult a fan or say that they're asses for doing this, all I said was that this does the teams performance no good and they should hold thier frustration till the game ends. But I still manager to draw out a reaction from the likes of Gemmil that suggested I had insulted his mother.

He's entitled to tell me how the crowd should and shouldn't react when he has to fork out to go and watch that turd every week. Until then, I'm entitled to tell him to fuck off. Great word-play with the knee jerk to jerk thing btw. I see what you did there. I wasnt telling anyone to do this or that. I was expressing my opinion as regards the crowd's behaviour. And I didnt say anyone had to agree with me. I would love to go and fork out even to watch that 'turd' every week. Most of you people dont realise how frustrating it can be for lads like myself, isolated as far as football goes let alone NUFC. And then nobody is forcing you to go watch at St James' are they? Oh, sorry, you are that superfan who has to go watch every game and think himself holy and above others who either dont go or dont have an option of going Those people may not have the option of doing so, and they may be putting in effort/time/money in another way as best as possible. So those who think themselves holy for splashing out on the club should wait a minute and think how much they know about the other person before slagging him off. Opinion aye opinion thats it!!! This is a message board, where people post thier opinions and discuss matters. Do I have to pin an 'imo' with every line to make you lads understand Im not 'telling you what to do!'. If all of us thought the same this place wouldnt exist. I never say anybody has to agree with what I say. So some of you dont like my opinion or what I think, fair enough just say so. But there seems to be a slagging off match everytime. Sorry but it kind of reminds of the intolerant attitude of most Western nations that think their style of life and their values are the best and should be imposed on all others. Wont discuss politics here because God know what that would brew up. I know its not all of you, so sorry again. I understand most of the hatred comes from you not liking my opinion or what I post, but these replies to signify a certain amount of intolerance towards other opinions. A simple 'no, I disagree' with you does the job, what I get is again, intolerance. And patrokles seems to have been hired to get rid of me it seems. Have to say it was a rather poor appointment because he cant seem to come up with more than one line answers that just say, "Fuck off' or "Go to hell". Will have to do a bit better than that.
