  1. Bring on Barnes later and score a couple of goals. A nice outing for Joe to cap a brilliant day. Just need to avoid anything silly at the back.
  2. We have another 100M player on our hands lads. Thank you Everton daft cu**s
  3. Wow that was quite a half. Started worryingly but we could have had 6 or 7 by the end of it. Burnley are soft shite mind. Chance to get out of the relegation zone but they've been so careless and soft. Tino has been brilliant, he's just different class. Burn doing welk again at CB as others have said, great to see. Again can't stress enough how incredible Gordon is. The deliveries today, the quality of the final ball, work rate, movement. All outstanding.
  4. The way we start away games man, rubbish again hanging on
  5. Also we'll most probably learn we're unable to spend due to FFP so this discussion will be redundant
  6. We should be accepting any bid over 20M for Miggy, Longstaff or Wilson. In fact we should be looking for these deals as they are the main saleable non starting assets we've got. List of ins in order of priority: 1. Quality CB (cover for Botman and then be a better 3rd choice than Lascelles, eventually take over from Schar?) 2. Forward (Wilson is a crock, cant chase the top 4 or silverware with one striker ffs) 3. RW/versatile winger midfielder/Gibbs White - overdue Miggy upgrade 4. Covering CB due to injuries - Kelly mould 5. Young and upcoming striker if Wilson goes- You need at least 3 forwards imo 6. Left back - lower down the list because Tino has shown he can do a great job there and hopefully Hall has developed a bit I'd actually put Dubravka high up the replacement list if our injury and FFP situation wasn't so shite, he is utter horseshite even as a backup keeper. I know some would say we need a 6 and that old debate about pushing Bruno forward. I just don't know how Eddie plans to setup with Tonali fit again and him, Joe and Bruno starting together. We'll let him sort it out.
  7. Looking at the state of the defence we'll probably need to score 3 at least to win. Easy peasy
  8. I was hoping Spurs could manage a result to keep Chelsea at distance from us but they've looked hopeless again.
  9. Hopefully he can put this all behind him now and focus on being in top shape for next season.
  10. Aye I suppose this might have been said before but I don't think there's another player who would be harder to replace. Not even Bruno imo. I'd be heartbroken if Bruno left and he's forged a special connection with the club, but quality central midfielders are more abundant than strikers. Let's say we got 120M for him, short of Mbappe who do we get that can do what Isak can? And just look at how some of the other 'top striking talent' from the last year or so has done. Ramos, Ekitike, Hojlund, Nunez. ( should I add Jackson? ) He should be absolutely untouchable if he's happy.
  11. He's too busy for that, not easy managing the most dynamic and entertaining side in the country.
  12. ManUtd fans absolutely seething over Sancho's performance tonight is a nice little bonus.
  13. If the contract needs renewing we should be doing it asap and sorting out any dodgy clauses etc. 200M or feck off.
  14. Rashford? Can't be arsed to run during a match then goes on to make videos about how committed he is Not the sort of character you want trying to break a 60 year trophy drought.
  15. I'm enjoying all of these and I will absolutely pay to see their end of season documentary once it's out.
  16. For all the talk of the best title race in years, City are going to absolutely cruise to it yet again aren't they? Fine by me.
  17. Look at this C**T flogging players ffs I hope the clause isn't valid for domestic clubs at the very least. Going to be a hell of a transfer window this and not in the way we would have liked.
  18. Probably ManUtd pushing him on this so a lower fee can be negotiated. Still what a massive prick Ashworth has turned out to be though.
  19. Looking into Carragher might also be rewarding. The mental gymnastics he's having to perform are olympic worthy. From quadruple hints barely a month ago to 'they've overachieved this season' and now trying to keep a straight face because Slot is possibly everything he said was wrong with the Ten Hag appointment.
  20. Well that was absolutely STEAMING shite. Still seething at the VAR decision, could have been a totally different result after that. But wow were we terrible tonight.
