Centre back was a must imo. Not looking forward to seeing Williamson back once Taylor gets injured again. We'll really need Colo for this one, hope he makes it. We'll need a magic moment or two again from someone to take anything from this. Jonas will have a vital role again in keeping Mata/Hazard in check. For all the complaints about Jonas the man is absolutely vital, at least in games like these. One of those players that dont look like setting the world on fire when they are playing yet you miss them dearly when they are not.

Aye, he is progressing 10 times faster than Enrique did. He was brilliant at times last season, though he did have his dodgy moments when he started out. I think he's going to be a real quality player in years to come, with not too many injuries hopefully.
-
Aye cant put Marveaux in that category because on that basis then at this time last year HBA would have been an ugly signing! Dont agree on Gosling or Abeid either, too early to judge! And yes, harsh on Perch.

Bump - to get into the mood for tonight

http://www.dailymoti...-remember_sport With the quality of the goals from this season, I thought we just had to have the best of them in a video. Tried to get 'em all in but I think I might have missed one or two here and there. Download link below http://www.mediafire.com/?ymb2f7p2pnnfsb7 Edit: Cant for the life of me figure out how to embed videos from Dailymotion

That would just get Terry to score

I know, like I said it was talksport. Think he's a pretty decent player, those stats are a bit misleading. For reasons others have already stated we're probably not interested though.
-
Gossip column says we're in for Kalou, then I read the source which was talksport

Good luck to you all but personally I'd be gutted if a team with the likes of Downing and Henderson in it won anything. Just wouldn't be right. Notwithstanding Lollerpool did win the Carling Cup with those two in it so who knows

Good news, from what we've seen so far the man's a genius!
-
Yup, a promising youngster as a 4th striker no matter what. And if Ba leaves then a proven goalscorer is a must. Hope thats the plan.
-
The Sun linking us with Johnson, now that would be a canny signing but I seriously doubt we'll pay what City are likely to ask for him. Agree about the striker thing. Even if Ba stays we should be looking for that 4th striker now that we're in Europe and the injury concerns surrounding the man.

Aye that could be a factor, some things from your childhood always seem so much better dont they. But I loved that text commentary thing on it, the later games have these fancy engines and what not but they aren't as much fun to me. Also that game had a certain simplicity despite having enough detail to keep you interested and a very very good user interface.

Guess I'll be supporting France then

Any body remember CM 01/02? Haven't been addicted to a football game since that. It was so much fun, the manager games these days have a lot of detail but somehow are not near as much fun as this was. I was wondering if anybody knows a site etc where you can get patches/updates for new players etc for that game. If it there's anything of the sort that is, considering its over a decade old now

Aye, Im surprised a bigger club didnt go for him. I think midfield isn't a priority for us at the moment, we'll probably try to strengthen other areas first and sign someone like this Coventry lad we're linked with to backup the midfield, unless someone leaves.
-
Aye, even if we hang onto these two surely we need another one still to make up the 4. Bas Dost linked with West Ham of all clubs yesterday.
-
What? I dont know, didnt see that game so dont know about this 'incident' . But in general over the last half of the season I cant complain of lack of effort in his performances.
-
Umm because Ramadan starts in July this year it shouldn't be that much of an issue. I agree his performances weren't the same as the start of the season when he was near unstoppable, but he did play a useful role on the left nonetheless and if he was the main man instead of Cisse he would have scored a fair few himself. Its a bit hasty of us to be wanting to sell just because of the barren patch. If he hadn't shown heart or commitment or lost interest then you could have justified it. Anyway if he shows the slightest bit of inclination towards staying and doing something about that clause then I think we should keep him.

Hopefully a torrent wont be too long away then either

Allardyce at Barca....bloody hell, joking or not that has left a bitter taste in me mouth, have some respect for the game man! Its like making someone watch blood splattering horror flicks over dinner. Bluagh Time to go puke

Pep signs off with his 14th trophy at Barca! Might have had a good squad at his disposal and all but that is still one heck of a record.
