God I hope City can win the title again. Bigger leads have been cut down in the past. A nice humping from Real would nicely as well. Arrogant little ******

Our defending in general was pathetic in that second half. I cant wait for us to sign Simpson's replacement but its not fair blaming him alone. Our CBs were nowhere to be seen in their last two goals. Granted Van Prick's smack on Colo's face didnt help but he really should have gotten back in time.

Yeah I put the do in the inverted commas because Im not sure what you exactly mean by it. Point is we matched them in both the games we played and overall in the league standings as well. So saying our best eleven would struggle against them is hardly justified.

Our passing clicked, and the players were calm on the ball. Thats going to be crucial again versus Arsenal.
-
Our first eleven could 'do' them on any given day. As is evidenced by us staying neck and neck with them up to the last day of the previous season.

Noone expected a performance at Old Trafford and look what happened. Now all of us are expecting a good game on Saturday so we'll probably get hammered

Why does anybody even expect anything sensible from one of football's governing bodies these days. Highlights of the game were just on, couldnt watch. Yesterday was all about being proud of the effort and guts put in. Starting to sink in now we had a great opportunity to do something yesterday that we havent done for over 40 years. Oh well..
-
Did he really do that though? I refuse to believe it, really? After a performance and heart break like that. Would have built a statue or two outside me room today myself if I could, even if to kick it later on in the season after a bad performance or two

Summed up nicely. This was such a good performance. Not going to talk about the defending in that second half but apart from that it was superb. There was composure on the ball, nice and calm passing on the ground in the midfield. Noone showed any signs of fear. Everything we lacked during that 5 game slump. Was really good to see. Hope we kick on from this and the boys dont get disheartened. They'll be down tonight but this was a massive improvement on the whole. Something needs to be done about that defence though. Wonder where everyone went for the 4th goal.

Thought Simpson actually did better today. Cant stand the guy but he was half decent imo. Second half the defence was a shambles though. Scoring 3 on that ground and not getting anything. Really really need to get a couple of defenders in.
-
Carried away? Did you not see the game? We went at them without fear despite having our squad out and being 15th in the table. Cant think of a single other side in this league that would have done that. We would have gotten them too if not for a bit of luck. I dont know what people want from their football teams. But I'll have that everyday of the week. We've criticized the team a lot this season, I have too. So Im not going to sit back and get carried away thank you very much when they put in a gutsy performance like that.

Go to hell you twit! We were the better team in the first half, and we could have easily won this another day with a bit of luck. Bloody proud of that performance. So so unlucky, deserved a point at least. Credit to Pards for putting out an adventurous team and going for the win. Kudos!
-
Aye cant argue with that. Our best chance would be to try and keep them within sights upto the 70th minute or so and then hope for a goal out of somewhere. Like last season.
-
Dont think it would be worth the risk as we're not likely to get anything from the match even with him in the side. He wouldnt be a hundred percent anyway. Better to save him for the months ahead.
-
One of those games where despite trying to be optimistic you just cant see us getting absolutely anything from. Just hoping we dont get embarrassed and get anyone else injured.
-
Nope Im 24. I dont like calling them Man Utd because the media refers only to them as Utd which for some reason pisses me off. Villa have a lot to learn but they were completely outclassed today. Learn to give credit where its due. Chelsea have had their problems this season but they were fantastic today and scored some super goals.
-
That was one hell of a performance from Chelski. Easily the most impressive from any team this season. Should have been 11-12 if not for their keeper. Manure's draw means they'll be right up for it against us of course.
-
Real 16 points behind Barcelona now Mourinho cant seem to survive more than a few years at a club. Cant see him being the long term Fergie replacement.
-
-
True. Dont think that will happen in the next two games though where we will probably stuff the midfield and try and get a point.
-
Agreed. Cisse looked right pissed today as well.
-
Which is why I was scared shite QPR were going to nick a goal from a defensive mix up or something of the sort. Would have been typical. Relief is the word
-
What a relief. QPR were so incredibly shite. We really should have gotten more at them. Thankfully for us Shola had one of his Pele days. The lack of spark as usual was worrying but Pards had enough about him to see and made the substitutions that changed the game. Hopefully we'll be seeing a bit more of Marvueaux now. On the whole massively relieved!

SHOLLLA YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Brilliant goal! TAKE THAT YOU DIRTY STINKING BASTARDS!!!!! AHAHAHAHHAHAHA
