I meant his physical presence will be especially needed in this game. Anita had bloody well start progressing soon as well, he has to have SOMETHING about his game that made us splash the money that could have been used on Debuchy
-
Ferguson v Stoke, some of their players could probably fart him out of their way Good to have Jonas back for this one though.
-
Cant see us getting anything from this barring individual brilliance from Ba/Cisse. Mind who the heck is going to string 3 passes together and make sure they get the ball is a scoring position is beyond me.
-
Not surprised to see you think that at all! Makes me think we're probably right to keep faith with Pards after all

, Yeah sorry my bad the table I was viewing was apparently live.

http://www1.skysport...209/Out-of-Toon Good article that, basically most of the things we have been over here. Seems like everybloodyone except for our management can see it.

I said a better footballer, not defender. Meant his passing is better, more comfortable on the ball. He's not dead scared of the ball like Simpson is. Actually Im not sure about the defensive part either, Simpson's positioning is bloody awful. What hurts Taylor is his complete lack of pace which was exposed in games like the one at home against Chelsea.
-
Bit harsh on Taylor methinks. No doubt he's better with Colo around and not the imposing player we all wished he would but when he burst onto the scene as 17 year old. But comparing him to Willo is an insult. He's miles ahead of him. Thats no compliment anyway.
-
Aye, I dont rate him as a defender at all, but he's certainly more of a 'footballer' than Simpson.
-
Forget Douglas. Debuchy/Douglas seem like an old dream now. I'd be happy with signing anyone who can do a job for a game or two without the ultimate fuckery that Willo displays every 15 minutes or so.

I'd take 13 like. The way we're playing at the moment 13 would be a bloody miracle.

Newcastle and St. Mirren strike partnership deal

They're taking this partnership thing a bit too seriously arent they? -
LBT, kindly take a screenshot and make it your wallpaper. Look at it any time you feel like coming on here and posting something

Everyone wants to play through the middle these days. Tippy tappy stuff. Wingers are gone. People who can shoot the ball from range, or want to, also seem to be disappearing with time. So everything seems to be going through the middle for most teams. Which is why we now have 5 man midfields. Doesnt make for great entertainment. Watching teams like Dortmund in Europe is so refreshing.

Oh so anything good about us is not because of Pardew but all that is bad is due to him then? How does that work? We were better than Spurs. To be honest our only good performance of the season so far.
-
So you give him credit for assembling our best team in 10 years then? And you want him sacked after 3 losses? Nice. Although I dont think this team is better than Bobby's from 01-02, 02-03.
-
Those teams have been playing together for a while though and their game plan is setup around those players. That makes a lot of difference. Ability is just one piece of the puzzle. If you arent taking into account the fact that half of yesterday's team consisted of kids we've had to throw in together for lack of a better alternative then you are just being silly. They arent going to immediately start gelling together, they look far from ready in fact.
-
Oh well at least Sammy has come out and apologised for the performance. He needs to go out on loans asap though, along with the likes of Ferguson and Bigi. Just not ready for this level yet, although the fact they've all had to be thrust into the team together doesnt help. Pards apparently thinks we were unlucky because Southampton won at QPR and had their confidence up. So I suppose we're even more unlucky because Stoke just beat Fulham.

A thoroughly depressing state of affairs. I do think we'll turn this around, but we may be rubbing shoulders with the bottom 3 before that happens, knowing who we play in and around Christmas. Well fook me I was thinking Christmas, but its very possible we'll be a point from the drop zone come Wednesday
