A lot hinges on what message is being sent to the players for the summer doesn't it? The club has been making a lot of noises about being restricted by FFP, what are they telling the likes of Bruno now? Do we expect to upgrade the 3-4 players we need to to take us to the next level? To be fair, if we have a normal amount of injuries next season (big If since Botman and Lascelles are already out for half of it), we have a very decent squad to call on as it is. Add 3 quality players (forward, RW, CB?) and maybe 1-2 promising young ones (No. 6?, another forward) and we should be in the top4/cup charge mix.

Bruno and Isak will be here to lift our first trophy. Fret not. The FFP $$$ will come from hoying off Wilson and Miggy to Saudi.

No, this is absolutely on Dummett. You have to sometimes win games 1-0 at this level. I agree we had great chances to put this to bed but they don't always go in. Its understandable. What's really not understandable is blatantly hacking down a player who was nowhere near the ball and who wouldnt have done shite even if he was, 5 minutes from stoppage time against a team who barely created a clear chance. This wasn't the sort of error we've seen from Trippier or Burn or Botman this season that happened in the flow of the game, this was just plain unrivalled stupidity. And yes I'm still seeting Also disagree on European football, we deserve a Europa spot as much as anyone else. To be in the conversation considering the kind of luck and injuries we've had is a fantastic effort.
