Sometimes when watching Man City play over the last couple of years I've often thought how brilliant it would be to have someone like Yaya Toure playing for us. Sissoko seems to have the attributes to be every bit as good as him with a little bit of added flair in attack. Wont read too much into the second half performance as everyone barring Krul seemed to have disappeared for that.

Excellent first half. Very excited about the way everyone linked up. Cracking goals too and a very promising start from Sissoko. That guy looked every bit as good as he was touted to be. Dont want to talk about the second half, havent read through the whole thread but Im sure its been discussed in length already. We disappeared completely and in all fairness were lucky to come away with a win. Man of the match Krul for me. Good to get a win under the bealt and hopefully can go on to better things from here.

Would take a draw here, they are just as desperate as we are. Chances of getting anything from Chelsea and Spurs are slim so this is immensely important. Lose today coupled with Chelski and Spurs then certainly all the morale built up by this window will disappear. Need something today, mind we seem to be saying that every week dont we?

According to twitter some Belgian paper has reported we are in for someguy (French of course) called William Vanqiuer. Midfielder. Why in the world would we be going in for another one of those?

No signing thus far this week. Ashley out! I think its obvious to most of us the reason for the spending in this window is the fact that Ashely and Co have finally realised relegation is a real possibility and they are going to suffer serious losses if it does happen. Nevertheless we have signed some players with genuine quality, those that can take us to the next level. He's shown loyalty in the past. If his wife is ill and he is staying to help us out of trouble then well done to him. I understand this whole thing hasnt been as simple as what with the 7M story and his father making all sorts of comments. Yup, need some height in there. Marveaux doesnt seem to be fit enough or willing enough runner to play in a typical central midfield role just yet.

Will be in the summer probably. Tiote and Colo of course. Not bothered about Tiote anymore keeping in mind how he's been playing for the last 6 months and the fact we've got good replacements in. Dont think we can do much about Colo. The key will be to hang onto Cabaye and Ben Arfa.
