Nobody expected a thumping win but with the resources we did have we, and those fans making the trip down there, could have at least expected the manager and the team to have a go. You have to have that much belief in yourselves. This has been an absolute embarrassment and there's no excuse.

Why cant we at least take a chance like we did at Old Trafford with a decimated team? This is just shocking tactics. Way to gear up for a European night. Dont forget you arent out of the woods in the league yet either you gutless twits!

Pathetic stuff, just pathetic. Going out for a draw, no shape, no effort no invention. Just stuffing the place and hoping they dont play well. Not to mention time wasting from the 10th minute. Horrible tactics. Utterly deserve this. Gutless stuff. Fuck off Pardew. Havent been this disappointed in a performance in a long time, the way we came out, just no intent.

Shane Ferguson tearing apart international opposition

Model professional, always did the job when needed. Wish him all the best for the future. As for him being ambitionless etc, we dont know the reasons for him staying here despite never being first choice. I think he's been on the cusp of becoming a first team player a few times, just never happened for him. It may well be he truly wished to make it here and believed one day he would do so. Anyway, who really gives a shit considering the great servant he's been for us and a no doubt a top professional to have around the dressing room.

Massadio Haïdara signs for Newcastle on 5.5 year deal

The international break has come at the right time for us. Wouldnt be a least bit surprised though if a couple of those on international duty picked up knocks, the way things have gone over the last week or so.

Yup! On a personal note, great to see we have another muslim player Really hope the scan on Thursday comes out good! -
Halsey apologised quickly so as much as Im infuriated by the incompetence displayed by the officials in that game we really should let it go. Its well established by now anyway the refs in this league are absolute shit. The way Wigan have acted in all of this is another matter of course.

What an absolute farce. The FA have done it again. What a bunch of useless wankers.
-
Had better not get injured.....
-
Probably because it didnt involve anyone getting seriously hurt. It sure seemed Mcmanaman meant it. What an absolute cunt this Whelan guy is. I thought it was bad enough Martinez was acting all oblivious to the incident and this arsehole actually has the nerve to come out and defend that cowardly tackle. Pathetic.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
aimaad22 replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Your reply to my previous post implied you thought I wanted Pards even though no indication whatsoever of that was given. I suppose you were speaking more in general then.- 10610 replies

Whooosh. Fact is we have lacked going forward in the last few games, saying that doesnt mean I expected us to be playing like Barcelona by now. Or that I want Pards replaced, been very much in the keep him camp during our slump last year mostly because of the limitations and problems we've faced that you've tried to explain and that many of us have been offering to the idiots who wanted him out. So calm down mate , saying we're lacking on one front or the other does not mean the manager needs sacking. Its just a concern many of us undoubtedly share.- 10610 replies

Hate Sunday nights after an annoying weekend when all you can think about is the 5 days to come
-
Yeah, it was just one of those days.
-
Lets still hope for the best here.

Ultra pissed after today's events of course. And mood not being brightened by the fact I've got to attend some sham of a training tomorrow at work where they 'teach' you stuff you learned hands on a couple of years back. And only because apparently there are these so much hours of trainings you gota complete for a year. FFS. Time to check out if FIFA works on the work machine
-
Thank Goodness for that. Think some of the players need a rest, especially Sissoko, been playing a lot.
-
Knew I shouldnt have asked
-
How come its always the decent players that get injured?
-
Any update on his condition? Last I heard was that thing about not being able to straighten his leg Guess we wont know much before tomorrow.
-
Nowhere to be seen when the team's in trouble. The amount of space Wigan sometimes had in midfield today..... Cant see this guy being anything other than an impact sub as long as he's at a half decent team.

Think I can remember a few managers at least acknowledging that their player did something stupid in this sort of situation. It IS a game of football in the end and if somebody tries to go in and end a 20 year old's career over its absolutely cuntish to defend him. Agree its what most managers would do though considering the game has lost most of its morals anyway these days.
