Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
aimaad22 replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Still finding it difficult to get my head around the fact Pardew was appointed given his past record. You keep getting the bad feeling it will blow up in our faces sooner or later, despite trying to convince yourself that with our current first team squad a repeat of 5th is more likely than 16th.- 10610 replies

If Chelski get Falcao or Shurrle, he'll probably have no future there. Might be worth going in with a bid. He'll cost a bit though so Im probably dreaming anyway.
-
Anybody else think we should be in for Lukaku? I mean, if West Brom can get him... Has some really good attributes, not the finished article by any means but a very dangerous player already.
-
Hazard/Vermaelen. Like someone said pretty good looking squad. Remains to be seen if they can work together.
-
There's hope for them yet!
-
Its not that, its just how your remark came off. Im not fickle enought to make a judgement like that on someone based on what they write on an internet forum on an emotinally charged topic.
-
Obviously, and the London train bombings etc etc. Its usually the common folk who fall prey to the consipracies of the powerful. I know, Im just saying you cant generalise these things and they arent any less 'barbaric' just because suited booted people carry them out.
-
Even more shameful is the fact our shameless government is right in on this. No surprises that the guy who said he'd have these drones shot down mysteriously lost in the recent general elections despite having unprecedented public support.
-
How do you define barbarism? Was Hitler religiously motivated? What about the link I posted above about the old man being cut down? What about dropping bombs on a bunch of children attending school or a wedding? The fact its done by the push of a button rather than hacking at them with knives makes it not barbaric?

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
aimaad22 replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Players are going to be dying to stay/join us seeing as how every little kid dreams of providing affordable football to the people. This is probably one of those 'managing expectations' things as they say, but can these people at least not think twice before blurting out whatever comes in their mouths in front of the media?- 10610 replies

Fantastic, does Ashley even know he's acquired a football club and not another supermarket? Nothing like an ambitious statement to set you up for the summer.- 10610 replies

Ah, one of those who thinks God should be a babysitter who gives us a helping hand when we stumble eh? A fall back mechanism when nothing else works? So if that doesnt happen there's no God. Dont mean to start that debate here, way too long and already done to death on the internet probably.

Its stares you right in the face. As far as Im concerned its a mystery to me how people cant see it. Btw, 'coherent enough to access the internet' Very good. I dont take offence, I really dont. Way past that. Im just wondering though, do you talk like that way to all muslims? Or just people from developing countries if not muslims? Its a serious question, you know, if I ever get the chance to visit up there I should know what to expect from people.
-
Something becomes religiously motivated just because muslims are involved in it. Whereas anybody else does something crazy and its just unfortunate or a freak accident or something of that sort.
-
Horribly racist thing to say. I wonder why this didnt cause such an uproar. http://www.guardian....otivated-police

There are no justification for it of course. Are there any justifications in war? Its all madness isnt it? I hope those two get hanged for what they did. I also hope someday people like Bush and Blair get to answer for what they've put half the world through.
-
No doubt, Im just saying its not the main reason. Injustice is, the fact that most of the people affected by this war have been left with nothing but the thought of some kind of revenge. Desperation. Its very difficult for you and me to understand, living in our comfortable homes. But a lot, a lot of innocent people have been brutally affected by this war and its been little more than politics to us. Was going to start blowing up in our faces sooner or later. Almost 50,000 dead in my country already, and those are the official figures. Who can say how many more before the dust settles?
-
Well put. Just wish there were more people who understood this. There is the world of difference between justifying something and trying to get to the roots of the problem. These arent just lunatics blowing themselves up for the heck of it, most of them have some very real grievances that we need to address.
-
Im not saying religion isnt used, like I said its used to paint over a lot of things. My question, however, was do you think all the violence over the last 12 years is based on this factor? Do you think all the violence in Africa/Middle East/West Asia will have no repurcussions? Do you think people will sit back and watch their familys get destroyed by expensive toys? Do you think telling them that mistakes or collateral damage happens makes them feel better? Do you think the US and its allies can go on and interfere in whatever the hell they like and pretend people will not get pissed off? Do you not think people with no way of hitting back, with noone to complain to, will not get desperate? Its just so much easier to blame the stereotype though. Because it makes you feel things in the world are generally okay and there are just a few lunatics who hate our peace. Feel free to decide who is deluded and not though.

Thought he was their best player for a long while last season. Koscielny has had his off moments too but seems settled now. Might be a similar story with him, certainly has some great attributes. Would be an improvement on Taylor anyway.
-
Actually no, it doesnt. Noone can help it if a crackpot chooses to misinterpret it though. Why do you think they murder each other in Iraq though? Do you think its religious? Do you know there's absolutely no concept of Sunni and Shia in the Quran? Its political, as everything always is. Painting a religious picture over it always helps though. Gets the loonies in on the act and causes mass hysteria, nothing provides a better cover up. Tell me seriously, its been 12 years since 9/11. Yet these suicide bombers and crazed attackers etc keep popping up all over the place. Thousands by now. Do you honestly think there are enough stupid people who believe the 'go blow yourself up son and go to heaven' mantra? I think the countless people who have been left homeless/family less by the military operations since 9/11 are far better motivated. Waking up one day to find his family and village in the tribal belt on the Afghan border was bombed to the ground by the air force, what state of mind do you think a young man working in Islamabad will be?
-
I like George Galloway though, I understand he's a controversial character up there, but speaks a lot of sense imo
-
Yeah. No justice, no peace. Simple as that in the end. Average man, I dont know, elect better leaders perhaps? Easier said than done though. Everyone thought Obama was the 'change' that was needed. Not sure what the Americans think of him now but as far as foreing policy goes he's turned out to be as bad as the nutter before him. Similalry the clowns who run Pakistan have as much a hand in this mess as their foreign counterparts have.
