  1. You can expect a 'purple' striker and perhaps one or two young prospects realistically. Been reading on a few places about Monaco being interested in Ben Arfa, a 10M bid is being rumored.
  2. I think mentioning the name Wonga a few more times would have helped to drive the point home.
  3. Thanks for clarifying that! You should give Barca a call, they need some physical presence and strength in the air. Tell them about Davies!
  4. We'd still have to get a replacement for him, Perch is not good enough, Bigi isnt ready yet. On the whole we have a weak enough squad as it is, anybody leaving will have to be replaced so I'd rather noone did.
  5. I'd rather have Bramble back than sign Davies.
  6. Reina probably. Fits the height criteria
  7. So Crystal Palace it will be then in the premier league next year. Quite a jackpot as well, they are calling it the 120M game. Zaha looks real quality.
  8. Yeah it doenst work like that Aeris. Like I said we'll be lucky to get anyone interesting in apart from a striker perhaps. And we had better hope its not Carlton Cole!
  9. Didnt actually bother clicking on it
  10. Dont know if thats Carlton Cole's genuine account, nonetheless ..........
  11. His account has been a total suck up fest to Marsielle over the last few months. QPR must really be a shitty place to be at
  12. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2331329/Newcastle-add-Eder-list-potential-summer-striker-targets.html#ixzz2UTBRj7EP Dont know much about him to be honest.
  13. Dont know, I get the feeling those saying we spend some of our summer kitty in January have a point. We'll probably get a striker in, anything else will be a bonus. What we need to challenge for 5th or 6th again is a couple of strikers, a winger and a CB at least. And thats assuming noone important leaves. Williamson has to be kept away from the first team, and Jonas needs someone pushing him for a starting place.
  14. Agree with this. It is a horribly difficult job though, especially with all the diving and acting going around nowadays. Least the refs should do is show some consistency though. Fact that similar incidents often get different treatment from the same ref doesnt help their cause.
  15. Aye Song was a strange one. Just when he had started to become a decent player at Arsenal too. I can understand Neymar's choice. Real are full of egos from top to bottom and always seem to be on the verge of unstability. Not the place you want to be if you want to develop yourself as a player at the moment.

  17. I think Busquets is underrated, and the diving tag he has on him doesnt help. Lack of physical presence is something he lacks though, as does his team in general. They were so much more dynamic with Toure and Ibrahimovich in the fold. I can understand the point about Ant's making about Pique though, come to think of it must be a nightmare for him with the full backs bombing on all the time. And he's also the only real physical presence at the back.
  18. Yup, if I was them I would have gone in with everything for either of Falcao or Lewandowski. They need someone to take Puyol's place too now, Pique is generally a mess without him. A bit like the Colo/Taylor situation. Now hearing rumours of Falco to Monaco, ffs!
  19. Nope, something without that horrible patch on the back would be lovely.
  20. Wasnt exactly being serious...... I do hate Wigan after the way the acted over the Haidara incident though. I have no complians about Swansea winning the league cup.
  21. So? They're even bigger cunts than City. And served to remind us how even some shitty small time clubs have won some trophies. Not a good thing.
  22. Can nothing good ever happen in football? Oh well.....
  23. I like the fact he admits his mistakes. When we play piss poor he's not afraid to say so. Just because I dont think he's a great manager doesnt mean I ignore he's a lot less cuntish than many other managers. Too bad he's not able to rectify his team's weaknesses despite identifying them.
  24. Sigh, for some reason I still harbour the hope Pards can make it here. Think he's a more down to earth, generally more likeable fellow than most managers around these days. Just wish he was better than most of them tactically as well
