I said in certian situations, not as his main role. We've not had anyone to call off the bench this season when we've chased games, and Isak has often looked flat on his arse after the 70th minute mark because of that. Add Europe and there's no way we get through the season with him alone. Top clubs in Europe typically manage with 3-4 quality forwards, surely we can acoomodate 2? We absolutely need to. If Delap goes for guaranateed first team football to Arsenal or ManU you cant begrudge him that, but I think we can still make an attractive offer and he will have reasonable game time if we're competing in 4 competitions.

You'd also think playing with and learning from one of Europe's top strikers instead of Jackson or Havertz could be appealing for him.

He'll get enough game time if we're in the CL. Plus Isak can be deployed effectively supporting the big lad up front in certain situations as he did with Wilson when Wilson was a footballer. Can't argue against Arsenal if they're in for him because his competition will be Merino and Havertz
