Might be pointless to you but some people enjoy detailed analysis. To be honest some of the blue/purplish shades are rather tricky to differentiate
-
None of these are anywhere near Cabaye's level though. Anita has shown promise and I think Sissoko has the ability but they're miles off at the moment.

Well its also sad in some ways......but mostly http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2013-11-29/america-finds-a-new-thanksgiving-tradition-in-no-walmartfights

Tell me about it.

I agree, however there just seems to be one period after another where you've got to sit tight and suck it up doesnt it? Seems never ending. I suppose thats just the way things are. Money is a factor of course but not an overriding one. Im lazy, I dont want to be the CEO of anything, just a bearable job thats pays the bills. Its the 'in transit' part I've been stuck in for years thats just getting to me. Yup
-
Congratulations! Stuck in something of a transit career wise me. My 'training contract' of sorts just ended, I have the option to stay on at the firm. But although the firm is well reputed they're prepared to pay peanuts at the moment only and I dont want to build a long term career there anyway. Problem is outside jobs are hard to come by these days. Only option seems to stay on until a decent opportunity comes along. Then there's this qualification Im pursuing which is proving to be an absolute pain in the arse to manage along with work. I can see myself stuck in this situation for another 1.5-2 years which is driving me nuts.

And we'll be left hoping once again our over hyped scout has lined up a decent replacement. I wonder if all the Anita talk this season has anything to do with him being the replacement? We'll try very hard in January of course but that darned crossing line will come in the way.

Like Steven Segal with a sun tan and put through a car wash

Still a month to January yet the salesmanship has already begun.

Fraser Forster or The Scottish Football Thread.

Well as a TV fan from afar I can say there's nothing even close to matching the interest generated by the English league at the moment. And the increased competitiveness will do that now harm Over the last many years I've often stayed up to watch Europe's biggest derbies. Whether it be England, Spain, Italy or Germany. Each is interesting for different reasons. Can't ever remember being excited about celtic v rangers though. I might watch it if the alternate is golf or a cricket test match. But apart from that, nah, because it just doesn't have a bigger context as the league's completely shite. Of course it will be different for the locals who'll see it as a massive game undoubtedly. The game isn't the biggest of anything though if it doesn't generate interest from outside. -
He's sour about Remy, ironically.
-
I expect Mbiwa to be a fine defender in a couple of years' time. He's got some great attributes. For some reason people forget not everyone immediately adapts to this league. Colo, Enrique, Koscielny etc just some of the examples.
-
Not sure which thread to post this in, so I just dug this one up. Normally dont read articles of this type but this one pissed me off for some reason. Whats this guys definition of 'unknown'. By his stupid reasoning no player in Europe's major leagues is really unknown then. Also why the hell is a QPR fan so interested in our scout? http://thespectatorsview.com/2013/11/27/the-famed-scouting-system-of-newcastle-united-beware/

He's exactly the kind of player they need right now. Hopefully Moyes will spend another 27M on a player they dont really need though.
-
Arsenal have enough mid fielders as it is I think. They're going to be looking for a striker and thats about it.
-
Personal circumstance might have changed from that time though, difficult to say without knowing all the details. Always come across as a decent lad and surely our best defender in recent years so I'll be sad to see him go. But I hope the club's looking for a replacement, cant be having this disturbance every time the transfer window opens.
-
They are so boring these days too. You could see over the last few years that they just weren't the same free flowing side. But fergie had them winning somehow. Moyes won't be able to do the same.
-
What in the world does Cleverly exactly offer? Cant believe he gets to play for England as well.
-
Really enjoyed the Negredo goal, what a turn and strike. Dawson is still probably untangling his legs
-
Debuchy
-
He had about half a dozen chances to get rid of it. Unbelievable.
-
I still couldnt say which player was playing in which position, especially in midfield. Was difficult to imagine how anyone could improve them from last season but he has. they're an absolute machine at the moment.
-
Thought Dortmund were the better team for 85 minutes, created the better chances. Paid the price for not taking them though, Rues and Lewandowski not at their sharpest today. Bayern's squad is ridiculous, you cant expect the like of Dortmund and Leverkusen to keep up throughout the course of the season. They had Ribery and Scheweinstiger out today yet still could bring on Thiago and Goetze off the bench. Ridiculous.
