  1. People are concerned about the quality he's gotten with the 100M, the net spend doesnt have anything to do here. For instance Pards bought Henderson for 50M, Carlton Cole for 25M and Andre Santos with the remaining 25M you'd be pretty pissed wouldnt you even if we'd sold Shola for 105M and had a net spend of -5M?
  2. Will have to look for a river myself, 1am kick off time too ffs. No work tomorrow though so it shouldnt be that bad
  3. Its tough because you dont want to change the winning formula and all but at the same time you have to look at the energy levels too. Go with the same 11 I suppose and let Cisse/Anita/HBA loose at the 60 minute mark.
  4. I still think Fergie is responsible for destroying him, was a decent striker once
  5. Kuyt was just a Dutch version of Alan Smith
  6. Dont think he was suited to this league. His decision making was absolutely torrid.
  7. They've got their work cut out tomorrow though, can see them getting a thrashing at the Emirates. Mind you they got a cracking result there not too long ago didnt they?
  8. Trying to use the full range of smileys these days
  9. Yup he lost Brunt for their goal and for me he still misplaces too many passes, especially in the final third. But I agree it was a much improved performance nevertheless, his energy and willingness to run the channels has been vital recently. The goal will do his confidence no harm either.
  10. Well thats true, for the last couple of seasons anyway.
  11. You'd need to have 10 000 people at the rooftop shouting for him to shoot for him to properly do it though
  12. Is it just me or are Man U horribly boring to watch these days as well? In contrast look at Everton these days. Of course they're still likely to put a few past us mind
  13. I can see it now Newcastle@Sportsdirect.com United FC
  14. Maybe I wanted to compare Fulham and Villa
  15. Agreed. It could even replace the crossing line as the primary excuse for not investing in upcoming transfer windows
