  1. I agree. They're still in the mix. How many great players from abroad have taken time to settle in this league? You cant throw a whole bunch of them in together and expect to win the league immediately. I think its the manner of the defeats against City and Liverpool that have cost him though rather than the lack of points.
  2. Also, anybody else notice how Santon always seems half arsed about getting back into position when he loses the ball? Yesterday wasnt the first time he's done that.
  3. Steve Clarked sacked. WBA on a poor run at the moment alright but Im not sure about this once. They've looked pretty decent at times under him. Lack of a regular goal scoring striker is their problem more than anything.
  4. Not a bad result, Southampton will feel they deserved the point. Cant help but think about Remy's sitter though, 3 points would have been wonderful. Usually you expect to beat a team below you in the table at home so its 2 points dropped for me but its not the worst draw ever because Southampton are a very neat outfit.
  5. Our kit,our colours. black and white. Really does some up the club.
  6. I'd go with that too. Cabaye and Debuchy will be a real miss though. They bring so much energy and guile, along with the quality.

    Happy Birthday Sir!
  8. When we havent beaten them in a few decades
  9. We're doing to well on the pitch. Something was bound to happen. But its still unbelievable.
  10. He did struggle, but you could still see there was a player in there somewhere who could be top class given some time. Patience doesnt go hand in hand with modern football. Thankfully in this case we stuck with him.
  11. I'd go with that. If it doesnt work we could always bring on Shola. I suspect Pards will do the opposite though, go with Shola and bring HBA on around the 65 min mark.
  12. Yup, Santon and his costume man
  13. I do too. Im just saying Arsenal have been the most consistent team so far this year. Everytime you think City and Chelsea have gotten their act together they drop points again. That City versus Arsenal game will be massive.
  14. Aye I've been talking about his final passes a lot lately, brilliant to see him do it so well today.
  15. Arsenal are going to run away with the title at this rate.
  16. Well that was fucking brilliant! Great team performance, Debuchy and Tiote the stand outs probably. Best away result in my lifetime All of you claiming rights to starting match threads will do well to remember I started the one where we ended this 42 year win less streak
  17. On Wednesday thankfully I had the alternative of watching it on Al Jazeera with arabic commentary, not a word of which I understood. Far more bearable.
  18. Yup. This may sound weird to you guys of course but for me this fixture is the closest thing to a derby. Most football fans here are glory hunting ManU fans, no mackems in sight. So all the thrashings we've gotten there have been very little fun. There's not a fixture I'd like us to win more.
  19. Really? I thought Everton were the better side overall and deserving of their victory.
