FFS! Hoofball then. What a shambles we're still relying on him given its Feb 1. -

Really hope De Jong starts instead of Shola. And one thing I say before every game, Mbiwa should be starting instead of Taylor. Other than that we should be lining up pretty much the same as we did against Norwich. -

More to do with the years of mediocrity awaiting ahead rather than the strength in the team. Most of us would agree that on paper we're still comfortably better than them. Not that that matter much in a derby as the previous games have shown. -

Doesnt help with the mood that. -
Another hard month's work by the club management. I suppose it was stupid to get my hopes up again, you'd think selling your best player might spark the club into actually doing a bit of work. But no.

Hardly bothered about this, apathy's at an all time high. I suppose it would be nice for you lot living in the city for us to win. Apart from that cant really think of what consequence this game will have on our season, which is already over. -

Bunch of incompetent twats. The excuses just never end. If we really only had one target we should have gone all out for him. Miserable spineless ball likcing twats the lot of them.

Spot on. Wonder what the mood is like in the dressing room these and how many of the players are thinking about what their future in the summer.
-
No doubt Grenier's agent holding out for a bigger move, but its easy to gauge from those comments that the way we've gone on about this bid has offended the player . Not surprising at all considering the way we do 'business' and the fact we have Kinnear in the scene.

And Mourinho complaining over West Ham's tactics. Exactly what did he do at Old Trafford earlier in the season? Hypocrite.

Aye I did say 'on last night's evidence'. If they're letting him take the set pieces there must be a reason for it. He was just floating the corners in yesterday though, didnt really seem to have the technique to cause trouble from set pieces. Time will tell I suppose. -

On last night's evidence, Remy should be the one taking the freekicks favouring the right footer. Santon should be kept at least 50 yards away. -

Damn it, I was thinking about starting this thread Fish will have your head if we lose. I said this for yesterday's game too, but we should start Mbiwa instead of Taylor. If we see him as our long term CB there's no point keeping him on the bench right now. Also its about time Taylor did something massively stupid, and with passions running high on Saturday that could be the day. Any word on Gouffran and Cisse being fit for this? Not that Cisse is likely to feature anyway. Could do with Gouffran though, Sammy did very well yesterday but he was running on empty for the last half an hour. -
If we can get him and De Jong in before Saturday it will be a better transfer window than I expected.
-
For all of our complaints about him not passing enough, the guy can really find a defence splitting pass when he wants to. Couple of stunning through balls into the forwards yesterday that we couldn't capitalize on unfortunately. Overall did quite well, will be disappointed on fluffing that great chance though. Showed a lot of willingness to run and do the dirty work too. Here's hoping he can carry it on on Saturday, along with Sammy and Sissoko.

Hope he's fit for the mackems
