Amongst all the fascinating statistics I'd just like to add something immature and stupid. It kind of makes me sad every time another game starts with Ben Arfa, all the fun and entertainment we miss out on. Isn't football supposed to be fun in the end? Especially a club like ours which isnt winning anything. Completely irrelevant in the modern game I know

I certainly hope that isnt the plan. Because while Anita is coming along nicely, he's nowhere near Cabaye's level at the moment. Seems a different type of player too.

Aye, Sissoko's improved his end product over the last few games. Cant see Pardew dropping him or Gouffran at the minute.

Was he playing in that no. 10 role yesterday? Couldnt watch the game. When I've watched him play in that position I've thought he's a bit wasted there. He's one of those players you want in the thick of things, and we've often missed his quality in passing bringing the ball forward when he's playing further upfront himself. Fair play if he's grown into the role though, with Anita and Tiote in good form it takes a lot of the pressure off him.

Now that Debuchy will be back I hope Mapou takes his place in the centre.

Absolutely. Illustrated by this: Horrid way of treating a loyal player. I agree he shouldnt have been a first team starter anymore. But this could have been handled in such a better way. Of course we know the club doesnt have any class whatsoever when it comes to money.

First player you wanted sold seems harsh based on the fact there's Obertan in the squad I dont care whatever argument you are making, there's just no justification for playing shite like him ahead of Jonas. Jonas could be predictable, soft in the tackle and have a broken arm and leg, and still be infinitely more useful than the likes of Obertan.

Why are you confused between Perch and Mbiwa? Perch was a good professional and a utility player. Nothing more. Mbiwa could yet turn out to be a class player. Think people are judging him far too early, much as we did with Debuchy.
