He's not ending up at Man Utd at the very least. Looking forward to what we do in the remaining window.
-
Disappointed but this was inevitable with the level of our ambition. Dont blame Cabaye one little bit. We as fans can look forward to years of not competing for anything, getting knocked out of cups at the first time of asking, with our only joy coming from the performances of the odd gem we may manage to find who will promptly be sold for a massive profit once he gets to the level where he could take the club forward Love the mid table mediocrity me! Nothing like finishing a season in January.

Finding it hard to be arsed about tomorrow's game. The apathy and complete lack of ambition will filter down into the squad, and we'll probably lose by a couple of goals.
-
Aye, been saying that since we finished 5th. But the fat one cant seem to muster even an ounce of ambition.
-
Just to piss them off man. Wish our lot had the balls to pay these feckers back in kind.
-
Considering we need a striker, and what they've bid for Cabaye, I'd put in a 15M offer for Cavani. Pay them back in their own coin etc etc.
-
Its everywhere now.

I suppose this rules him out for Tuesday then? Well fuck that, we've got longer term problems here Despite knowing this was going to happen I was hoping it would get delayed till the summer at least, and after a horrid World Cup for the French noone would be interested. Depressed

Ashley must be rubbing his hands (and other body parts I dare say) at the thought of what the last week of the window might bring.
-
Yup, if this is going to happen then I hope PSG pip the bastards. Cabella isn't really a Cabaye type of player. More similar to Ben Arfa.
-
Not going to be a very pleasant end to the transfer window is it? Good think we've got good old Joe looking out for us.
-
Aye exactly, none. That, and the fact it wouldnt matter one little bit to them whether we finish 8th or 14th.

As we dont seem to have a general tennis thread this will have to do. Funny old final today at the Aussie Open. Always been a Rafa fan but he really won me over today. Is there a greater competitor in sport out there right now? Toiled through the last 3 sets despite clearly having no chance of winning. Made the crowd that booed him during his medical break look like right idiots too. Made no mention whatsoever of his injury in his speech at the end. Good stuff from Wawrinka though, played a brilliant first set and deserving champ on the whole. Had some of the spotlight stolen off him in the end, most people talking about Nadal's tenacity and spirit. Im sure he's doesnt mind one bit though with that shiny trophy in his hand and his name going down in the books.
-
Can totally see it now, he'll move to PSG in the final seconds of the window with us of course having no time to replace him.
-
Most people thought the same thing the last 2 times we've played them
-
Must be that line getting in the way.
-
Good for him!
-
Is this the new way of doing signings? Having deals 'in place' without official announcements. I wouldnt be sure we've gotten either of Cabella and De Jong until they hold up the black and white shirt.

Great player but 40M is a bit too much for him imo. As someone said before I dont think he's the kind of midfielder they need.
-
He'd probably play backup/plan B to Remy, till the summer anyway. Cant see us switching to 442 or dropping either of Gouffran or Sissoko in their current form.
-
Didnt we know that already? The only way we'll try and bring it forward is if there's a situation with Cabaye. Come to think of it we may not even then, with a mid table position virtually guaranteed.
-
Could we really be interested in Zouma? What a signing that would be. Surely bigger clubs will be interested though.

Rafael's tackle was shocking, Vidic's red harsh. Justice done on the whole. Man Utd would argue otherwise of course as Vidic is a far more important player.
