I hope he's very little, as in little enough to not remember what is likely to happen at the game.

We could hand him the gun and ask him to make his first decision

In a manner of speaking

And knowing this, in fact actually playing a part in it by hanging out the players for sale, we still have no replacements lined up when someone key leaves? Carrol, Ba, Cabaye? Aye fantastic transfer policy You can learn to live with, or even be happy with mediocrity. Its just a difference of attitude. For me, this club should be winning things, or at least trying. Im not daft enough to suggest we should be competing with City and Chelsea every year. But look at the likes of Swansea and Wigan have done recently. Birmingham, even the bloody mackems have managed a cup final. Yet we are supposed to sit back and accept we are not in a position to compete with the likes of Southampton? Are we supposed to accept defeat even before the game has started? People bringing about this type of mindset should be shot, let alone booed.

Buying players on the cheap and then selling them when they're in a position to take the club forward is a pretty shit policy, even if it is 'applied consistently". Its a typical mid table, zero ambition going nowhere club policy and its unacceptable. There's a difference between buying smart and doing what we do.

Dont worry, you could be here ten years and still not get that.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team

What an absolute twat. Takes a special kind of prick to be staying in the job when you know you are hated by just about everyone. Doesnt have any respect for himself or the club. Like someone said, perfect for Ashley.- 10610 replies

Im not sure he's good enough for the Championship either, cant see a League 1 or 2 club chucking out 1M for him.

Excellent Hope it goes down to the last game. Will be some game to look forward to!

Just watching the Toure goal again. Picks the ball up in his usual leisurely stride in his own half, realises there's 3-4 players around him but space ahead, so thinks "well, fuck this I'll just score" and launches himself forwards. Villa players looking like kids trying to get in the way. 93rd minute man
-
Most complete footballer on the planet imo.

Bloody hell Toure. What a player.

Seems to score at critical moments too.

Is it just me or has does Dzeko deserve more credit than he gets. Quality player.

Even if 2000-3000 walked out its a success considering what was being asked. And then there's something that someone who was at the game pointed out, that even those who stayed made their feelings towards the regime clear. The media picked up on it, the message has been given. Mission accomplished as far as Im concerned. If things dont get better next season, these numbers and the hostility in the stadium will grow very quickly. Pardew's days will be numbered.

Always liked the guy, its just that I dont want him anywhere near NUFC All the best for the World Cup big lad!

Must be great for the team spirit and all

If he did come here, I can see him going down exactly the same road as Gouffran. All the thrust and spark will be gone in a couple of months.

Williamson and Dummet ffs Cabaye by miles, followed by Remy, Debuchy and Tiote. Sissoko deserves credit for being the only one looking to create something after Cabaye's departure. (At some point didnt he top the stats for creating the most goalscoring opportunities in the league or something like that?). Still, I think he's only a shadow of the player he could be under better management.

For a long time I was one of those in favor of sticking with Pardew because we cant hope to get anyone better under Ashley, and I thought he was trying to make the best of a bad situation. However his absolutely disgusting comments this season; hanging out players for sale prior to the January window, all but conceding defeat before the games have even begun, comparing us to Southampton as if they were fucking Real Madrid, etc etc etc have made me realize the man is no better than Ashley himself. Negative influence on the squad I suppose (read as 'resistance to being Pardewed')

That people are picking on Pardew and his boss just because its the 'in thing' at the moment

Takes me back to the days of Alan Smith. I used to say we should offer clubs a couple of million quid to take him off our hands.

Santon for Enrique hasnt worked out as hoped. I still have hopes for Santon but Enrique was a lot more solid defensively (should be remembered the former is not left footed though). Anyway we were never going to hang on to him once Liverpool came calling so I get your point. At least we replaced him with a promising prospect. Like someone was saying on another thread, the fact Shola is still here and the murmurings that we may actually be bloody giving him another contract really sums up the farce that we are at the moment.
