While on the subject of talpatalk. Ive noticed its recently started giving notifications, the kind you get on here when quoted by someone. Its pretty useful. However while the notification in the phone drop down bar tells you who quoted you etc etc when you actually click on it, it doesnt take you anywhere. Just a blank page on talpatalk. Im not sure if this is related to the forum or talpatalk itself, or if it can be made to work properly. Thought it might be worth asking.

Aye fantastic transfer policy You can learn to live with, or even be happy with mediocrity. Its just a difference of attitude. For me, this club should be winning things, or at least trying. Im not daft enough to suggest we should be competing with City and Chelsea every year. But look at the likes of Swansea and Wigan have done recently. Birmingham, even the bloody mackems have managed a cup final. Yet we are supposed to sit back and accept we are not in a position to compete with the likes of Southampton? Are we supposed to accept defeat even before the game has started? People bringing about this type of mindset should be shot, let alone booed.

Buying players on the cheap and then selling them when they're in a position to take the club forward is a pretty shit policy, even if it is 'applied consistently". Its a typical mid table, zero ambition going nowhere club policy and its unacceptable. There's a difference between buying smart and doing what we do.
