Should be noted there wasnt really much of an attacking threat from QPR yesterday. West Ham will be a different matter because they've got pace and power up front these days.

I dont think its as simple as that. He's the kind of player who needs to have a completely free role. You cant have more than one like that in a team. Arsenal have tried to play him and the likes of Cazorla and Wilshere alongside him who like the same role with the result there always seem to be gaping holes for opponents to exploit. At Real Ozil had the likes of Alonso and Khedira doing the dirty work. At Arsenal there's noone. He's not the Sanchez type of player who'll run his socks off and be a nuisance no matter where he plays. More of a luxury player who needs to play in a certain way to be dangerous.

Chelsea will always be favourites but we've surprised them quite a few times at St James' over the years.

Yes yes we all know we've gotten lucky a bit and this run is papering over a few cracks. But enjoy it a little bit while you can too eh? Whats the point otherwise? The players have been working their socks off and we have been playing some decent stuff. Credit where its due, winning 5 on the trot in this division is no mean feat.

How far is Wenger from leaving though? They've been stuck going nowhere for years now. At first you'd think it was the lack of transfer activity but they've spent heavily in the last couple of years. Depends on if they're happy with a cup every few years.

Not a great performance but I'll take it considering the absences today. Sissoko the difference again, not just the goal but provided the only real drive we had and a couple of brilliant through balls for Ayoze and Cisse who should have finished them off. Krul's kicking was absolutely horrendous.

Pardews been going on about our improved squad depth. Little chance of them looking to add new faces then. You can be sure the club wont think of the fact we've gotten lucky in that certain youngsters have performed beyond expectation and few people would have thought we have great squad depth at the start of the season. A striker is probably the most we can hope for.

Should win this which is why it'll probably be a frustrating draw. We'll be banking heavily on Sissoko again, the amount of space Cabella or Ayoze are able to get will depend on him drawing out defenders the way he's been doing lately.

Im genuinely dreading Williamson's return on Saturday. Hopefully one of the midfielders will have the common sense to drop back and pick the ball up from him before he hoofs it to nowhere. Colback perhaps, or whoever fills in for Abeid.

Coloccini for me too. Not always because of his own contribution, but also because the players in and around him often seem clueless when he's not there.
