  1. Utter rubbish so far. We're just hoofing it. It's Bournemouth ffs Anita having a shocker
  2. Aye we really should be winning this. But it's never as simple as that with us. Just don't want anyone doing something stupid again. Keep 11 on the pitch pass it around and trust your players better quality to get the win.
  3. You're in with a real chance if you can restrict the lead to around 200. Anything over the 250-300 range on this pitch will be very tricky.
  4. Asking the club to groom talented youngsters?
  5. Depressing. Nearly a third of the way through the season and all we've got to show for it is "we played some nice stuff".
  6. Dont think he's getting sacked but after his antics this season its wonderful seeing whats happening to them.
  7. Just glad Gouffran isnt starting, though its still worrying he's on the bench.
  8. Meh. The amount of stupid red cards we've had over the last few years. Cant fault his attitude generally. Although I think mostly its players with actual talent that can lack the attitude
  9. Just a month? Honest lad, terrible footballer. Good luck to him, just stay there please.
  10. You'd hope that with the promise 'big money' signings Mitrovic, Gino and Mbemba have shown so far, and the fact the attack is starting to look good enough to harm teams and could benefit from someone who can retain possession and spread the ball around, the club will be encouraged to spend some money again. Especially if we're still in and around the relegation zone.
  11. Was just thinking that. Need someone in there was a range of passing and the ability to protect the defence without imploding.
  12. Redevelopment? Looks like they want to start from scratch basically

    Quake

Yup. That and the extreme cold did for a lot of the deaths in 2005. Most of the affected areas in the mountainous regions are hard enough to reach in normal times. Remember from last time around how trucks upon trucks of supplies were waiting to leave from the cities but with nowhere to go with roads blocked. Then we had weeks of aftershocks causing further landslides etc. A lot of the supplies ended up in places where they werent needed with other places left waiting desperately. It was a logistical nightmare. There's only so many people you can reach by helicopters. Whats clear now is that its thankfully its not at that scale though there's still a lot of work to be done. Add to that there was a freak snowstorm in those areas yesterday, most of them are under deep snow. Anyway, we're hoping some lessons were learnt from 2005. Communications that initially went down came back up quickly and the army has a better presence up there now which should help the supply routes.

    Quake

3 of the 7 tectonic plates meet here so its a fair point really Fish Death toll in the hundreds already but thus far it seems its not as bad as the one ten years back which was the initial fear. Some scary images though: [tweet] [/tweet]

    Quake

Fucking hell. Just had another horrible experience with these. 7.7 pointer, 8.1 according to some. Centred in Afghanistan apparently but it was bloody awful. Was in the office and as soon as it started you knew it was as bad one and boy did it pick up. Trying go calmly down the stairs saw the walls cracking up on either side, dust falling down along with the false ceiling in places and thought "this is it, the buildings going down". There's no going back in there till some sort of a survey to assess the damage. Few people decided it was a good idea to sit down along the way and start crying instead of running down. Some idiots going back in to save their laptops ffs I was hopeful that after that monstrosity in 2005 that killed 200K people I'd not have to experience another one on that scale. Good thing here is that it was quite deep or I cant imagine what would have happened. Still likely to be some damage in the remote northern areas. Hearing a glacier or two have come crashing down. I've decided that the derby defeat yesterday was not the end of the world
  16. Sickening result, especially after the first half performance. One moment of madness from captain fantastic and an absolute prick of a referee.
  17. Shocking decision but Colo is an absolute fucking moron for doing that, Elliot had the situation in control. After playing a half as good as that, typical Newcastle. Coloccini really can fuck off.
  18. He usually keeps 2-3 opposition players busy too. Makes space for the others. Constant pain in the arse for defenders as well.
  19. That was freaking FANTASTIC Tell you what this could all have gone horribly wrong for us with some of our defending, but here we are with a 6-2 win Tons of credit to Sissoko, found the end product today and created what 4 goals? Also got his defensive act together in the second half. Get balls into Mitro and Gini and they will score. 6 bloody goals and 4 from one guy. When was the last time you enjoyed being an nufc fan this much. Savoring it Slight bit of papering over some cracks here but its difficult not to smile like an idiot right now
  20. Aye agree about Sissoko, great end product at last but zero protection for Janmaat. Although both Janmaat and Dummett were sleeping for the second goal. We should be talking about some good forward play yet we look like we could ship a couple of more goals here so tons of nerves.
  21. Cant help but be happy at that prick Mourinho struggling. Seems to have lost the dressing room
