I think you've already given me a goodly glimpse of the refinement of these moral schools thanks. My whole argument has been based on trying to get into the head of the other side ,the people of Gaza or Syria for instance, because some people including the mainstream media will never bother since they're not Americans or Europeans. Or will write them off as inconvenient collateral damage much as you have. Its not about right or wrong, good or bad. Its about thinking of everyone in the same way. I dont know where that fits in in your alternative moral schools and I dont care really if this is what is called refined morality.

Yeah, Im trying to say that hell that was unleashed in Paris is a daily reality for a lot of people in many countries. And we're responsible for a lot of it. It scares me. How barbaric of me. Iraq? Whats your view on the MSF case Chez? Or the bombing of the UN hospital last year in Gaza which had the UNHCR (iirc) chief in tears? Coordinates were already available with forces, and once the attacks began the authorities were again informed, yet the onslaught continued on for hours?

Ok so let me get this straight: Leveling a country to get at 0.1% of the population is not so bad because the idea was to get at 0.1% of the population and not kill hundreds of thousands in the process. The fact that thousands do die and we knew they were going to die is besides the point because its the 0.1% that were the official target. The others are an inconvenience which we are very sorry about but its not evil or terrorism because it doesnt affect my weekend shopping trip.

I remember from last years destruction in Gaza an incident where 4 boys on the beach were taken out by Israeli artillery. A plain wide beach with absolutely nothing going on except a bunch of boys playing football, in the middle of the day. And they were slaughtered. Similarly, the MSF incident which has already been referred to. Do you think it was terrorism? Would it have been had the Taliban carried it out and not USAF? Oh boy. So the only people that actually have used nuclear weapons, and on civilians, can take the higher moral ground over those that 'might' have 'if' they had one. My question was that is there any difference from the point of view of the civilians who inevitable get caught up in the shite storm? If you're going to your nearby grocery store one fine day to find a bomb dropping on your head or some psycho shooting in your face, does it really matter whether its US or the Russians or the French or ISIS?

When about half a dozen of the world's superpowers bomb the shite out of a country in broad daylight you know what is going to happen. Its a choice we make, not a mistake.

Have you read about the MSF attack I talked about? They already knew about the coordinates and after the attack they were specifically informed again yet the attack continued on for an hour! That is not intentional? The subsequent explanations that there was an apparent Taliban attack on the hospital (which the people inside apparently knew nothing about) were even funnier. US and European interventions? Afghanistan? Iraq? Syria? Yeah those have all gone down really well with minimal civilian casualties.

Not referring to that video alone, there have been countless incidents of schools, weddings, hospitals being bombed in Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Syria etc over the last many years. Noone really knows what happens though of course, it is brushed aside extremely quickly. This year's US bombing of the MSF hospital in Afghanistan created a little stir, especially since it is known that the coordinates of the place were already known to US authorities. Similar incidents during Israel's onslaught of Gaza. But hey since its men in nice shiny uniforms its alright.

Vardy's a good player on a brilliant run of form. He's a nuisance and has a knack of being at the right place at the right time, however I doubt he's going to be as prolific always. He's in the form of his life, a bit like Cisse a few years back. He's brimming with confidence and all and so will definitely be a handful but still not something Mbemba and co at their best should be panicking about. Personally Im more concerned about our midfield, and the distribution from Anita/Tiote after the Bournemouth horror show. Desperately need someone to calm things down in the centre.

Nope. There are sharia courts that could technically apply the penalty though. They've not really ever had in power in practise however. Also worth noting that a good number of scholars don't actually believe there ought to be a death penalty.
