Cant wait for the Trump/Vince McMahon face off in 4 years time.

Could help seeing where we stand without him and address that in January, with a view to next season as well. Its a blow aye but cant be too bothered about someone missing out for what he's done, if he is guilty. Hope the club hands out additional fines in fact.

If there was ever a graphic that could elevate and shame you by equal measure Coming 1st at anything where the mackems are second is highly suspect, unless you're playing them. -
I looked for Crystal Palace

Yep. Its another Syria in the making. US backed Saudi led coalition targeting the shiite Houthi rebels who'd launched an offensive on the capital. They were perceived as being, and probably are, backed by Iran.
-
The word jihad literally means to strive, not holy war. Thats an interpretation commonly used by the likes of ISIS and apparently widely accepted in the West as well for convenience. Which is why I've always been of the view people will use what they want for power. I blame the Saudis more than the West for problems in the middle east. Might also be relevant to keeping in mind the thread tite that more innocent civilians were killed in Yemen yesterday. But as has been explained to me previously that doesnt constitute terrorism or matter generally since they're in a shithole far far away.
-
Its not about what the West created or didnt. Im talking about the debate we've previously had about whats at the root of all violence. Yeah thank goodness Europe and the rest of the world have not had any violence in that period. Are you referring to refugees as migrants?
-
I love how regularly we seem to discuss the burka, quran and source of human violence and how fellows like Gloom and Renton still manage to start from square one everytime

What was that line from the X men movie. I've been at the mercy of men following orders. I think people who can say that are the only ones who know what it can really mean. -
You lot still going on about this? You're still trying to explain that laying waste to an entire country is not always the best way of dealing with oppressive regimes Disturbing that the human lady candidate is so unhinged Trump actually looks like a safer candidate, in terms of foreign policy at least.
-
Go on now, what happened to it?

True. But at the very least fans were very vocal in what they thought about Ashley's ideas and his muppets like Pardew. And we had that 5th place finish which was fun. They've been utterly shit as long as anyone can remember, relying on the new manager effect to survive since God knows when. Not to mention the whole Johnson saga and how they handled that. Everything about the club is as classless as it could get and its about time they suffer for it.
-
Its funny because its true

Completely get HF's point about that being a horrid table mind
-
Streamlining workflows or improving economy across the board to make everything more efficient in the long term makes sense (including light bulbs I suppose ). And thats the category letting go of a few support staff at a football club should fall into. Remember reading somewhere that around 50% of club staff are part time anyway. You could get rid of all of them and the savings would pale in comparison to halving a single players wages over a year. You're right in that executives like fussing about staff costs, even if its a fraction of overall operational costs. It creates headlines and makes it look like you're doing something about a problem thats usually beyond them by that stage.
-
The only effective cost cutting that would go on in a financially struggling relegated club would be sale of the better players/high earners and acquisition of new ones on far more reasonable wages
-
Actually Im saying its not cost cutting really given how little difference firing a few admin staff would make
