  1. You know that's actually quite possible. If not MBS then there's a Sheikh or two above Al Rumayyan who comes in weekly, for instance, to sanction transactions and sign off payments. Having worked in finance for companies owned by royals in the UAE, one of the regular headaches was to get the payments into his highness's office in time for his hourly visit every Thursday, if he managed to get off his yacht that is. I wonder how PIF are structuring NUFC related transactions now, in the early days after the takeover and the DOF thing we did suspect issues in getting things approved right? Thankfully they seem to have worked something out for now. After the Cambridge debacle Al-Rumayyan probably stationed himself on a yacht somewhere for January, making sure his highness's fingers move away from the sheesha long enough to press the approve button on his laptop.
  2. Personal affiliations and tastes come into it dont they? Plus boosting your social media numbers by winding up a large following. Fact is football folk are rattled by the takeover, most of them want us to fail, they never thought they'd see a Newcastle United with the ambition and muscle to match the potential of the club. It's scary, its off script. Makes it all the more sweeter for us and I for one plan on enjoying every step of the ride starting by pissing off Burnley of all clubs
  3. Yeah, its almost like he's living 10 years ago when 20M would raise a few eyebrows. Surely just on the wind up. Another one pissed off by what we are looking to become.
  4. Good. Was just getting bored with all this Wood lark. Next please
  5. Making himself look like a real dumbass. Modern analyst that thinks a 20M deal for a proven premier league striker off your relegation rivals is bad business.
  6. Hopefully the first of many to the clubs in this league with all the crap they tried to pull regarding our takeover and subsequent sponsorships/transfers. We're finally coming for you you corrupt fuckers!
  7. Makes sense. They don't even seem to be linked with anyone though, other than the Everton Longstaff thing. Which also makes sense given the displays this season.
  8. Was hoping to see some of our twats linked with moves out too. Get as many of the half arsed toxic disappearing down the tunnel fackers out of the club as possible to get a real feel good factor in the dressing room.
  9. Good to know we can suddenly expect news that someone is having a medical. Few more please. Greedy bastards we are now 🤑
  10. Get in A near perfect save-yourself-from-relegation signing. Good backup for next year too when we can sign someone to really ruffle up top 8 feathers
  11. https://www.jabra.com/bluetooth-headsets/jabra-elite-active-75t##100-99091001-20 I've used Galaxy Buds and they are pretty good but been using these for the last two years and have found them to be superior in just about every area. I use mine for work calls a lot and so getting one with a good mic was key for me. They've turned out great in that regard, my gripe with galaxy buds is that they seem to pick up a lot of background noise in calls. Even the new Pro ones or whatever they are called. Found the Jabra ones more comfortable to wear as well and a better fit for when you are running or exercising etc.
  12. That would be brilliant, and Wood's release clause shouldn't really be too high so the deals could align with the idea of not getting ripped off that we seem to be working with.
  13. Yeah, was just wondering if anyone has seen him play, what his attitude is like. Willock had pretty impressive stats last season. Fabrizio is on it now
  14. It's on Sky as well. 30M though? Desperation starting to sink in or is he supposed to be very promising?
  15. Was just thinking that. We barely give a shite we are 19th right now If there's a couple of more like Trippier by the end of January and we manage to stay in the division come the summer, the momentum could be tremendous.
  16. What a brilliant window already and we haven't signed anyone yet Still just enjoying the positivity around the place.
  17. Martins' goal at Spurs Remember just thinking 'WTF!!' at the time. Still dont get how he generated that much power from that position.
  18. I think Palace, Leeds and Southampton all have to be careful, they could get dragged right into the thick of it. But yeah, I was happy to see the penalty go in as well, not least because Watford do look in a bit of a freefall.
  19. Missed watching it today but what delighted with the result obviously! They might be shite but Howe has the players up for the fight. Onwards and upwards
  20. ASM looks knackered. Need another one or two making runs to create some space for him. Right now teams know he's really the only one who can hurt them other than Wilson in the box.
  21. Strange game to watch this. Loved the graft after going down. Joelinton could very well be the next Makelele. Other ones that were decent were Fede and the full backs I thought. There was little other encouragement quality wise. We are truly shite. Says a lot about Norwich too, we rarely looked in trouble and both the red card and goal were self inflicted. What can you say, not sure how to feel. Not a bad effort getting a point playing nearly the whole game a man down but you can't shake the feeling that WE ARE FOOKED.
  22. Thats just about what everyone is saying isn't it and part of what I mean by saying it might be too much to ask. Hey the good thing is because the current crop is so shite we should still be able to improve and get better football even if we're cut adrift.
  23. It's going to take a massive turn of events for us to survive now including a massive transfer window and lots of results going our way to keep us in touching distance come January. I know the effort today was positive, but the lack of quality was also apparent once again. It just looks like asking too much even with the new regime's resources.
  24. Yup, the drop looking ominous now. More so because of the standard of players we have than the point difference at this stage.
