  1. Were just soft, so soft. Not winning challenges or balls in the air. Confidence thing?
  2. Two words. Joe Willock. I'm starting to think he was a pretty big part of the reason we made the CL that year. Acres of space in midfield. Bruno and Longstaff just don't have the legs. To what extent Tonali can address that remains to be seen, but he is a lot more mobile than Bruno and Longstaff.
  3. With Schar and Burn you'd think pace is another reason Tino starts ahead of Trippier.
  4. He's better defensively but aye nowhere near as good passing wise. That will come with experience although Trippier is miles ahead of most right backs in terms of passing ability
  5. Bruno has hardly featured today too. Everything good has come from Gordon.
  6. Nah. We've been on Bruno's back last season and Trippier too when they've made poor decisions or made errors leading to goals.
  7. Anyway I should pipe down we've been the better team overall if not for a couple of really bad moments
  8. Yes he is. Saw him there? He disappears for large chunks of the game too
  9. Forget the goal, it's like that throughout the game. Deer in front of headlights stuff everytime he gets the ball and we can't blame injuries anymore. Murphy is a bit of the same.
  10. Surely that's the excuse Eddie needs to boot him out of the starting Xi. Because he just can't seem to see the obvious otherwise
  11. Wow well done Longstaff there. Constantly breaks up play for us, stands out like a sore thumb. That was shite defending too mind
  12. Longstaff must have the record of most sliding tackles without winning the ball
  13. We've got to try and get the ball out to Isak in central areas, he's barely seen the ball delivered into him so far this season
  14. He's just made two very comfortable passes, take that haters.
  15. Schar playing changes the whole dynamic of the side. He's crucial. Also when can do we start Tonali ffs
  16. Aye we absolutely need to stop passing the ball to him. He's a goalkeeper, not a footballer. Good on the ball so far compared to previous games. Improvement.
  17. Judging by Guehi's performances so far this season maybe Mitchell was into something.
  18. Thing is, anyone who's worked at a big corporate, especially a successful or ambitious one, knows you have to get along and make do with people you don't like or agree with. Pretty basic stuff isn't it? If Howe and Mitchell are grown up professionals then they find a way to work together and it seems to me that was what Howe was indicating, but all the shite stirrers want to paint this picture of a looming disaster at the first sign of irritation. This kind of stuff is expected in organisations changing and growing at the speed Nufc are. I'm not saying the likes of Hope and Edwards are making it all up, rather it's the evident delight and revel in their writing that's a bit pathetic. As if they lost and miss the crumbs of destruction of the perpetually self destructing club we used to be. I don't pay them much mind, but when their work does get the clicks its designed for and occassionally ends up in front of you throwing a little CUNT or TWAT at it is certainly not amiss. If Howe does end up leaving I'll certainly wet my pants a bit but then it'll only show he's not ready to put on the big boy pants someone in charge of this team now has to. At the moment I think and hope he's got the guile to ride this out.
