Howe's The Pedro Pursuit You Ask? v Mike Deans Mellon Munchers
aimaad22 replied to wykikitoon's topic in Newcastle Forum
Oh dear me not this cup shite again please -
Probably has been the plan all along, as some here have been saying the club could have decided to hold back till the last few days when a lot typically tends to happen and you're more likely to get a better deal. We're not used to Newcastle United operating in a well planned manner but thats what we are now. Not that the notion of someone in Saudi going 'feck this ffp thing lets have some fun' isnt amusing

Guy who writes for a living taken apart by Twitter trolls. How sad can you get and how sad are the Telegraph?
-
West Ham really aren't going anywhere though. Great last season but they're just as likely to be finish 15th than repeat it. If the hype about Paqueta is correct he needs to be more ambitious. Top 6 club or lets say a project in the works
-
Massive waste if he does end up at West Ham though, hope he has more sense than that and stays put till January at least if nothing else works out.
-
So this is what Bruno's tweet yesterday was about?
-
So basically the perfect material for Howe to do his thing. The couple of times have seen him play for Sweden does seem to have tons of natural ability. Thats the extent of me technical contribution
-
Typical CT luck the minute he has a meltdown the club instantly decides to prove him specatuclarly wrong again
-
Aye that cant be accurate, with the business they've already done dont see why they would accept that for him considerning the amounts being touted for the likes of Gordon and Gibbs-White.
-
And he's a very limited player. Aye he's quite good at what he does, but very limited to that role. Being in the right place at the right time breaking up attacks and laying a 5-10 yard pass to Modric/Kroos. Worked great for them as thats just what they needed with the other players in that team. Should be quite interesting to see how it pans out with McTominay and co
-
They had it coming really failing to invest in the midfield in the summer. McTominay been all over them ffs.
-
The fit 'The King' would have thrown in the dressing room should help with the feel good factor
-
He's always been class. A fair few people try to undermine him by saying he's always spent shite loads wherever he's been but there's plenty of examples of that not working out if the coach isnt right. Just look at their red neighbours. Klopp generally seems to have been the media darling but personally I've found him a bit tiresome with his excuses that seem to be getting more elaborate with time.
-
There's been talk of Bruno catching the eye with the Real links and all. I think it wont be too long before Joelinton becomes wanted too. There's not many that can absolutely dominate the midfield battle in this league. It really does seem like we're about 2 top quality attacking players off from being CL place contenders. Its just mental.

AND the way the in which management has decided to implement their vision for the club. Careful, deliberate, well planned appointments that all fit in with the vision. None of the knee jerk dramatic, hype based emotional stuff that the Gerrard/Lampard appointments reeked off. The same process is being applied to transfers. A lot of people will need this perspective as we go through the motions of reaching the club's new aims in the coming years.
-
"Rafa cloned", oof Bit of perspective on how far we've come in under a year as well.
-
I think we ought to declare Villa/Gerrard as the official non Nufc interest/laughing stock for this season before certain people get ideas about other clubs and predictions.
-
Odegaard doing well for me here
-
The day is coming when this will not be a joke!
-
Oh well, equalizer at Goodison. Not bad in the scheme of things maybe, they to do enough for Lampard to stay long enough to truly ruin them.
-
Leicester losing as well. Still time to jump ship for certain players
