  1. And we can continue to hope it's utter shite, because that list is completely underwhelming, other than Tierney perhaps.
  2. Expelliarmus....Pickford must have been in a wizard duel as a kid
  3. He's infected the squad with it too hasn't he. They all genuinely seem to think they belong at the top now. Bloody brilliant.
  4. Going to get worse as they realize we aren't just having a great season and there is a real shift in power coming. Large sections of the English media don't seem to understand what's being built here now, they think we're having a Pardewesque 5th place one off. A lot of the foreign journos/TV seem to better realize there's something special brewing, the lack of Liverpool/Man Utd tinted glasses probably helps. As Sky and co slowly realize their idea of the PL elite is about to be shaken up, squeals will be heard, toys will be thrown, cages shall be rattled, beds shall be irrigated.
  5. Game fell in the middle of a horrendous work day for me, caught glimpses from the corner of the eye on a strategically positioned laptop. So of course this was the game when the floodgates burst open. What a magnificient evening though. Don't have much to add to what's already been said, thought it would be years before we'd see the team perform at this level
  6. Ah crap always forget to keep up with this a few weeks into the season.
  7. Options with real quality as well as incessant in your face energy. Don't think many defences would enjoy having to deal with a fresh Isak/Gordon/Willock combo bearing down on you at 75 minutes.
  8. So it would be good to not finish top 4 this season so we can mitigate the risk of not finishing top 4 next season? Got it. The challenges of managing a larger squad and fixture list will have to be dealt with regardless of whether its in 2023 or 2025. The only way of looking at this is that we'd be accelerating the project by a couple of years.
  9. So what would be funnier today, more misery for Liverpool or add on the pain for Chelsea? Perhaps a draw as it would zero good to either while reenforcing how shite they are.
  10. 2 games in hand over them now and we play them at SJP soon.
  11. Oh well, hope it helps put Everton down at least.
  12. He doesn't have to start. There's immense value in having an in form Wilson in the squad for the run in. It's already very clear Isak can be a special player. He should always be starting but he won't play 270 minutes in a week, especially not with the way we play.
  13. After our form last year I often thought how we'd handle the inevitable blip that will come. He's managed it perfectly. Switched around a few players to re-energize the team, retained confidence and intensity levels in the squad during the dip in form and got us playing good football again very quickly. Funny how things work out sometimes, if we hadn't been in a relegation scrap at the time of the takeover, the club might have gone for a Tuchel/Ten Hag type profile.
  14. Hopefully that's the confidence booster Wilson needed to get his act back together again.
  15. Loved that we didn't sit back after the first goal and invite pressure. Kept up the intensity and kept probing for the second. Fact we've got quality subs now helps. Never really let them in the game. Passion me arse. They were absolutely outclassed in every respect from tactics to individual performances. They just oughta be grateful it wasn't another 7-0.
  16. The greatest player to have ever played any game Marcus Rashford hardly got 2 touches of the ball. Sure Sky will point that out.
  17. US TV coverage laying down the love for NUFC. Tim Howard saying no better place to play football. Had forgotten what a good keeper he was
