Perhaps an out and out striker, someone physical to give us something different and eventually take over from Wilson. We've currently got more pressing issues to address though. LW, LB and then CB I'd argue.

It seems they're getting a number of high quality players around that age though so they're lifting the overall quality of the league substantially. This looks to be a completely different scale now than anything the MLS or China has tried to do. And with each new signing the next one become a little more likely because players see so many of their peers moving down there.

I'd honestly like to see him have a great career wherever he goes, but have a feeling that it will fizzle out. Performances on the pitch just dont match up to his social media bravado.

Edwards is one of those sad little men every workplace has. Incompetent and largely clueless but has managed to stick around long enough to know enough people in the industry and scrape by a 'career'. I think we could actually start the season with just Tonali and maybe Barnes as the additions. As we near the window's close and activity really hots up I expect we'll make a couple of more moves to get players in, especially a LB. The club will wait that long for the right player and deal if necessary as they've already shown the last couple of windows. A couple of Saudi bids really would help though seeing as they are everyone else How about having the chance to demonstrate those ballan d'or ambitions to Ronaldo and Benzema eh Maxi?

I'd keep Almiron unless a silly 35M+ (Looking at you Al Ahli) bid came in. He's in his prime, gets Eddie's system and fits the team culture, and could still bag some useful goal involvements in a long season where his energy will be important. Anything north of 35M for Maxi and we should get rid sharpish. As others have said, I'll always like him, but we have evolved and he just hasn't.
